VPD and mildew/molds

Hey guys question here for the super gurus, I've been having to run my room at way less than optimal humidity during veg and early flower, this in turn has limited me on how hot I can go on feed before experiencing tip burn, so if I try and get closer to the green zone on my vpd am I just making the conditions for mildew to reappear, or is a proper vpd in the area detrimental to pm and bud rot

I’d think that when you reach said green zone you will also need to make adjustments in your environment due to higher humidity like air flow and exchange, temp etc. Are you planning on adding supplemental co2 as well?

No co2 yet, and I got tons of circulation in the space and constant fresh exchange, just the 2 times I've tried to get closer to the green that shit popped up again, but when I go back down on rh it gets whooped again

Gotcha, I wonder if you were to burn sulphur or ozone generator to kill off those spores after your current grow of course. Might help eliminate the recurrence of pm and then you can ramp up your rh. Other than not being in an optimal vpd range and lower ppm feeds are you feeling that is affecting your garden negatively or do you just want to see if there’s a difference in the green zone at full feed? Just asking, I get it?✌?

Ok, sounds like your on top of things. I’m at a bit of a loss as to why it’s returning. Are the plants that were initially infected still around or cuts of them? I’m just trying to think of anything that could be a contributor. Thanks for getting this one going gweedo, good to be chatting with you man ?

All the original plants are gone, and everything was cleaned I just think it's really prevalent in my area, it's been wet for the last 9 months ???
Damn! Well, I guess that’s what it must be. Damn rain! Jk, I love the rain and the green it brings but in moderation. It tends to be a soggy mess where I am as well and then it’ll be perfect for a few months then it’s back to rain. ?✌?

This is what I use, both are potassium silicate same cas number so same compound.

the only difference is that the concentration of potassium silicate in protekt looks to be higher by as much as 2x

My environment is kept at 70%humidity and about 75f with lights on, and when the lights are off I only cycle the extraction fan if there's a dew risk.

I only add about 20ml to 40 gallons of water so about .5ml/gal weekly
