VPN Recommendation?

I've been using Nord for about 3-1/2 years. I've been happy with the service but the renewal price is a big jump from what I paid previously so I'm looking for an alternative.

I'm not on the darkweb or doing anything more evil than associating with the miscreants of pHenohunter. I do some torrenting, and occasionally I'll use it to bypass geoblocking but mainly I just like having some anonymity.

Any input on the subject is appreciated.

Yeah, a lot of outfits don't like it when you evade their spying. You really see that when you use a VPN.
It will be interesting to see how things go with google adopting the new standard so chrome won't block ads anymore.

I'd love to see more people make the switch to Firefox or a fork. I can usually make most sites work, but sometimes it takes some fiddlefucking around, since FF support is an afterthought.

I would suggest turning “auto-renewal” off regardless of service. Pretty sure default is auto renewal.

I just re-upped for 65% off a 2 year deal. I waited for them to throw me an offer. I was about 2 months from the end of my most current coverage and they emailed me a deal. I was about to step off to Mullvad but Nord wins for convenience. I had auto-renew turned off and they tired to get me to update it but I wouldnt. I find if you wait them out they'll come through with an offer

They are currently hassling me about using extra lines......and I am like I pay for 4 lines, and am using 2..........occasionally a 3rd. Never once did they all get used at once, lol.

They have subscriber loss but don't want to fess up to having lousy content........not like the old days.......so now their plan is to harrass paying customers with nonsense
