Restarting the hobby after a few year hiatus, was catching up on some other forums and noticed a few of the favorite breeders had moved on to new pastures. Older "vintage" style gear I guess compared to these days, a 17 gallon ecogrower top drip/dwc conversion, some 2 gallon ebb/flow containers with a controller module, and a small ebb/flow table for starting/veg.

I still have all my HPS/MH gear but the temps and electricity cost just don't seem worth it any more. 2x Spiderfarmer 2k panels in a 4x4 tent over the ecogrower and 2x sp250 over the ebb/flow with 2x sp150 for side lighting. Hoping for any recommendations/tips to improve my drying and curing process, I had decent luck growing previously once I tamed my ppm to reasonable range but lost a few of my favorite plants during the dry/cure phase to mold. Will be sticking to hydro only for awhile and the gh salts since I have plenty to use up. Have a 5lb combo pack of masterblend that I might give a try as well.

Sorry to see so many losses of breeders and breeding stock, hope to see some old faces on the forum and see what new crosses are available these days.

Also I'll be honest, that cannatrol cool cure looks amazing and to solve most of my problems. That massive price tag though geeeeeez.

Welcome sandman83 :weedleaf: I know a guy who has a cannatrol and he loves it. It was too challenging for him to dry and cure the way most of us do, so he spent the money on a cannatrol. I think he said the buds were dried and cured in roughly one week, give or take. I smoked some of his buds and they were excellent. He also stores his buds in the cannatrol.

A swamp cooler would probably do wonders for ya. Grove bags are the new paper bag.

Welcome to the crew.

I've seen those new bags, look to be a better option than buying larger jars! I'll try drying the auto's since they should be done sooner than the photos...if it goes south again I'll just pay the money for the automated version. Cannavaults look to be attractive as well, lots of improvements in the scene!

My old sp250 are only getting ~450 ppfd at 18" above the canopy for flower so I'm debating how to add an additional supplemental panel in the middle. viparspectre p2000 looks inexpensive but I'm also tempted to upgrade to an se5000 or ks5000 bar style fixture for the center. Either way lots of new led gear and nice grow panels!

Old 4" fan and filter combo died but tbh I don't really need the odor control for the veg room? I hooked up a 6" with reducer to vent for now.
