Hope all is well with you too man! Good to see you pop through.

Got a Black Abyss going right now that's just killing it by the way!

Happy to hear someone finally dove into the Black Abyss. That was a sleeper that never really got any traction. Hope you enjoy it.

Hey man good to see ya! How’s it all going?

Things are going very well. Thank you for asking. I'm just enjoying retirement life. I hope things are going well for you too.

What's up brother. Yeah, I'm aware of the website. I shut everything down and decided to step away from the game so I could get the most out of retirement and not have to ever work again. For me, with such an over saturated market, breeding was way too costly. I was spending close to two grand a month in expenses just to keep it going for as long as I did. I finally had to make the hard decision to hang it up because it always remained in the red. I just couldn't justify watching it bleed my nest egg any longer. I retired at a very early age, so I need to ensure I'll have enough money for the next 40-50 years. It was 100% a financial decision and not a passion decision. I miss breeding immensely, but I enjoy never having to work again much more.

I did send my entire seed stock to @spyralout in hopes he can run an auction for my entire stock. (well over 10k seeds), all my varietals (released and unreleased), and different breeders included. I'm not sure how he plans to run it. I left it in his hands to decide what is best. Whether it's one auction for it all, or broken down into smaller batches. I've been too busy managing my investments so @spyralout was kind enough to help a brother out. He's truly been an amazing, ride or die friend. I can't speak highly enough about him. Should be something coming soon. ?

Just sampled some actually. It's a real nice cross. The smoke is sweet, skunky and mellow but the high is really heavy. And it gave me some serious munchies lol. Trying not to crush a whole tray of brownies right now...

Stoked for you on the early retirement man! That's awesome. A little saddened to hear you won't be breeding anymore but totally understand your reasoning. Glad I've had the opportunity to grow your work and to continue to do so

Well I get it....man i get it. I am retired as well and for me its all about chilling with what i got and not investing in 25 pounds of another nutrient.

The year before i retired i got 25 pound bags of jacks 20 20 20 10 30 20 MC V2.... Masterblend Tomato and i probably have enough for 2 more years of growing...i want something else but...hey in my mind it is pre retirement FREE.

And good on ya grow bro....now we can just grow on together. Now watch me hit all females on GOW 7 for 7 studs ROFL...BUT Blunt Force Trauma decided to go all girly for me to make up for it....and searching in the heathen hoardgift i have a fat sack of PANDEMIC !!!

Congrats on an early retirement. And wow do I get it..I am reining in my spending myself....i have to eek by until 55 and then BOOM my reitrement nest egg is available and i can forget about work for 10 more years...or more.

Happy Blissful Retirement !!!....What I realized in about 3 months after is....work...it was 35 years of my life...but it dont mean shit to me anymore..And I am very very happy about that. I also just filled an elbow and a bit of personal jars...and man LIFE IS GOOD. I started my job at 17 and they would not let me have a drink at the christmas party for 2 full years :D but i got out 1 minute before covid...so if timing is everything...I WON EVERYTHING...and work would have killed me or made me crazy with all of the worldwide bullshit of covid. I heard they had not had a shipment from China in 8 months.. Retirement is AWESOME.

PEACE....Glad you are better than OK :D retirement is truly fantastic. I think it is my favorite part of work...it used to be vacation was my favorite part of work.

It is a bittersweet moment to see you hang up your hat. You’re such a valuable member to the community and influential to me personally as well. It is an honor for me to make your seed collection available to the public. You have been a rock solid contributor and most of all a great friend.

I willl make these available as soon as I get past this harvest and trim hell. Work has not made it easier as I’m covering others’ duties due to vacation schedules and such. Double whammy. There are some great packs and other vacuumed sealed seeds in this collection you won’t want to miss out. Phylex has been kind enough to donate half the proceeds to pH related expenses, which would be a great help as we start entering the holiday season.

Congratulations on early retirement my friend. You certainly deserve it and I know you’re enjoying it to the fullest. Much love brother ?

If i get all males in the last 6 seeds....of GOW...i want SMIORE....all these people talling bout some spearmint juicy gum...my favorite lost gum of all time too...

Female to Male is legit 50 50...i have had it all...from 50 50...to running 8 godbuds and all 8 were female for the math it is a 1 in 256 chance or like 1/3 of a percent.

So GOW will be all girls BABY....just glad to represent PhenoBros....and i will still grow your gear even if you retired...so did I :D

Dam man awesome that you get to just enjoy life now, will we at least get a journal here to keep in touch, your one of the many here that inspired me to do my own thing, and I'll forever be grateful for that, and I hope sincerely your getting to do what you wanna do now lol it's a life goal of mine but ill hit full self sufficiency before I retire lol I hate my job ???

I'm only half way through this thread and enjoying it immensely.

I was lucky enough to have been gifted a few of your GOW and CSH beans and will definitely be making the most of them when room permits.

Thankyou for all of your hard work and perseverance, it's so nice to read such a thorough journal.

Now back to reading and catching up!

I found a stash of beans last year and decided this past winter that I'd pick 6 (Ca legal limit) to grow outside. It's only going to be casual fun. I'm not concerned about the success of the grow but I'm also excited to see what I have if it comes to fruition.

(6) 10 gallon pots
Dirt
Hose water

Here's the six, poorly labeled seeds I started yesterday
1. Moon Dragon x ???
2. Zamal #13 x ???
3. Durban #2 x ???
4. Skunky D x ???
5. Terp/GOW x Moon Dragon
6. HD GOW (Sour Kush) leaner
7. Spyralout (BCK x Nepal Highland) - Bonus seed planted in the raised garden bed filled with Strawberries

I tried going through my thread to determine the ??? because I simply don't recall anymore. I'll dig a little deeper when I have more time, but if I had to guess, they're Zamal. I believe they're from the final open pollination grow before I shut down shop.
