I found a stash of beans last year and decided this past winter that I'd pick 6 (Ca legal limit) to grow outside. It's only going to be casual fun. I'm not concerned about the success of the grow but I'm also excited to see what I have if it comes to fruition.

(6) 10 gallon pots
Dirt
Hose water

Here's the six, poorly labeled seeds I started yesterday
1. Moon Dragon x ???
2. Zamal #13 x ???
3. Durban #2 x ???
4. Skunky D x ???
5. Terp/GOW x Moon Dragon
6. HD GOW (Sour Kush) leaner
7. Spyralout (BCK x Nepal Highland) - Bonus seed planted in the raised garden bed filled with Strawberries

I tried going through my thread to determine the ??? because I simply don't recall anymore. I'll dig a little deeper when I have more time, but if I had to guess, they're Zamal. I believe they're from the final open pollination grow before I shut down shop.

Lol. What's up brother. I'm definitely a little excited too for a laid back grandma's grow.

What's up Tex. Things are great. I hope all has been well with you too.

Hell yeah!

There is valid evidence to this,,,
I querried about "Z" stock , in 'the hoard' - No dice

Makes sense they are all with you.

Super curious to see them. The only two Zdelish that I grew were both male, and I didnt do anything with them.

No matter
You could be growing Carnations; I would still be happy to see you.
GM Jewels. I only found some crumbs. Most of my findings were only 1-6 seeds in each of the poorly marked vials. "Spyralout" (BCK x Nepal Highland) was the only substantial find. There were three full vials containing hundreds of seeds. As far as Zamal, @Deebs holds the keys to the treasure trove.

7. Spyralout (BCK x Nepal Highland)

Any idea on flower time ? I have a fat pack of this :D might have to soak a bean or 5...
I don't. I shut down before having a chance to run it. This will be a first for me and I'm excited for it. I'm just hoping I can make it to the finish line since I'm growing outside, which is new territory for me, and I don't plan on getting heavily involved with the grow. I just want to give them some hose water when they need it and let Mother Nature take the wheel. I've definitely missed growing immensely but I'm not going all in and just doing this for some half assed fun hoping it all works out. fingers crossed

I think @Texagonian had ran some testers of it @Phylex if I recall correctly. I recall him mentioning that a lot of his friends really liked it. I ended up busting some out, and making some tubes, and sent him some. Couple others I have sent them out, as they were requested.
Yes I did. I was unable to document the final weeks but she ran right up to 70 days and I imagine some might go longer depending on preferences. All of the ones I ran were on the shorter side but I flipped fairly fast. One of the 4 was I’d say 25% taller in structure. Excellent meds was the report from all who I gifted some. Functional, uplifting and tingly to the body, mood and vision enhancing. I have a couple seedlings up now and would be happy to document them if anyone wants.

@Phylex - I'm pretty sure you were already on sabbatical before I joined Phenohunter.

Hello! ?

Thought you might get a kick out of this:

Late last December I was perusing your seedfinder page, and clicked on the homepage link in your description.

The site is is now home to a young mycologist that calls himself Goomba King...?

There's really nothing posted other than a link to his Instagram.

While perusing his mushroom pics, he had a post offering LC syringes for $10 a pop.... decided to take a gamble and ordered 4 and he sent me a TON!! ???

Things got crazy for me right when they arrived, but I'm hoping to put them to use soon.

Page 12 of GK Genetics breeder thread was last of my updates on the Spyralout testers and then Covid madness took over for a while. They finished end of March so they were a good 70+ days. Wish I had the rest other than notes documented. My apologies.

Zamal #13 and one of the Spyralout's didn't germinate. I planted 8 seeds but only wanted 6 plants, so it worked itself out.

Males labeled ??? below = (I no longer recall who the daddy was. They were poorly labeled vials I found and there's a variety of different males it could have been depending on when the seeds were collected.

The official six
1. Moon Dragon #1 x ???
2. Spyralout (BCK Phylex Cut x Nepal Highland)
3. Durban #2 x ???
4. Skunky D x ???
5. Terp/GOW x Moon Dragon
6. HD/GOW (Sour Kush Cut) x ???

Update: Veg Day 60

Seeds were dropped into the soil on Earth Day - 4/22

After tracing back through my journal, I'm fairly confident now that the father is Moon Dragon. They're from the maiden pollination using the male Moon Dragon I selected for the Moon Dragon BX1 attempt. While pollinating, I decided to do some single branch pollinations on other girls I had going at the time.

Love it mang, I had a flowershop smelling Moon Dragon when I grew them out. All floral like being in a flowershop with every kind of flower I can think of. So sweet and wonderful smelling.
Was a nice ass plant to grow out. The name reminds me of my Moon Dog, rip you lovely dog you were.

Good to see you back at it Phylex. That Durban hybrid has a lot of similarities to the Bx. Instantly the look of the leaf.

My man, @Phylex. So glad to see you back. A lot has happened since you took a break, including your creations still being grown by several of the pHam. Also packs continue circulating from your donations to the prize pool. Seriously though man…so great to see you around 💙

I forgot to mention. One of my blood brothers has been growing GOW next to his big ditch for over 3 years now. Massive football sized cola cuz he doesn’t top. He’s run several strains but has kept this one going. He’s left a few lower buds then it re-veg and flowers again in February! Two years in a row like that. He’s also dropped a few more seeds and got a couple different pHenos. One of the pHenos melted his face when he looked in the mirror lol 😂

@JL2G @Buck5050 @spyralout ; Thanks pHam 👊

Garden Update: I'm taking it a little bit more seriously than I originally planned.

I just love this shit to my core. It was an extremely hard decision to hang it up. With that said, I still won't be stepping back into it. I do however plan to grow 6 plants outdoor each year moving forward.

Upgraded Tactics: It's no longer the bare minimum of just dirt and hose water.
  1. I eat a lot of eggs daily so I've been adding the egg shells into the soil for calcium.
  2. Spraying with Neem Oil once per week in the evening.
  3. Occasionally adding DE to the top soil for preventative maintenance and silica.
  4. Watering with "Recharge" once per week
  5. Feeding with Dr. Earth. I've been using Premium Gold 4-4-4. In August, I'll switch to Flower Girl 3-9-4
  6. Released two cartons of Lady Bugs into the garden
Initial Thoughts:
So far my top 3 (equally loved) are TerpGow, SkunkyD, and Spyralout based off of their growth/structure. Of course, I'm praying for all females and excited to see how everyone responds to stretch. I'm even more gitty anticipating what to expect with the flowers from everyone.
