Good day everyone.

I thought I would open this thread to post a few pictures of what I am messing around with in my tents.

I have a 5x5 to Flower in and then a 2x4 for a starter and whatever else I might think of tent.

I run a rdwc setup in both , but have been seen with the odd plant in promix depending on the situation.

One system is about 40 gallons while the other 12 .

At the present time I am running a strain from true north , strawberry banana elite strain. Not sure what the elite is but looks like good smoke.

I would be about 10 days from flip to 12’s.

I run a MarsHydro fce6500 right now as I have an FC6500 also but it was acting up.

Will have a new driver promptly shipped as early as tomorrow, to fix.

So to my Grow.

Botanicare kind nutes , ec 1.3 ph 6 , home made wort and air conditioner to chill and orca mycorrhizae.

I may not need the orca , but it’s not costing much and I sleep better knowing all is well.

I have a larger collection of seeds , many are from Useful seed.

After reading through his thread and seeing what he has done in his community made me want to try and obtain some of his work.

I have done chocolate diesel s1 ‘s of his and chocolate covered strawberry so far.

I started a pack or regular pack of chem cookie trip x 1979 Christmas tree for a friend

But from what I see it will be a while before I see a sexed cutting.

So while I wait I started up these.

Thank you for stopping in and your comments.

Along with the cfm kit from gorilla I add these along the sides.
This gives me many anchoring locations for strings and such to hold the plants up.
The way that it’s bent on the edge provides
a 2 inch shelf along the side for scissors, roll of twine , extra temp humidity guage.
I have attach a smaller wooden angle plate with couple plastic ties for a fan.

Few more back and forth’s and another driver shows for the FC6500.
So it’s back , will check some numbers on it when a get back home.

Dankberry at 7 days old went into the net pots yesterday.
One damped of for a day but I was quick to resolve her issue and is now back on track.

I will be cutting these down to the 3rd node to start a mainline of branching.

Moving to Grow Journals as it’s more appropriate there.

What size pipes are you running for RDWC? Do you get root creep n clog? The medium you’re running, doesn’t look like original Hydroton brand is it Grow!t brand? How has it been working for you? I’ve found brands that aren’t OG Hydroton tend to float more vs staying put. Also what size net pots?

Yes it is the Grow it brand and 99% of it would float when rinsing it off.

I have had issues with 1 or two plants not wanting to root, but its just the root block being to wet and not forcing it to look.

On the first system I used 3” bulkheads, 5.25” pots and lids from current culture the smaller using 1.5 bulkheads from uniseal.

Drawing though a 3/4 npt the roots love to make there way . I try to pull my pots out every few weeks during veg to pull the roots back a bit , then run till the end .

Plugs are never fun, but I can get my pipe off with a very small amount on a towel.

Just once has it been stopped , normally just a bit of a reduced flow.

At 29 days its stacking up nicely with the light just above head height , 6ft with some tops at my forehead
1.15 ec , ph 6 stable with water dropping 4-5 gallons each day.

A few root adjustments and the leaf is straightening out.

Definitely a few seeds spotted but once I’m past that is looks great.
