What and how many drivers would I need to run these?

Jesse, that means my turp bars are parallel, would there be any difference if ran in series? Not that I'd mess with it. Just for learning.

We talked about UV and IR last night, he is still recommending reptile bulbs at the moment. He said he is willing to start exploring an add on for a UVB switch....Thats the only application I can think of where I would actually want a separate toggle... I would like to experiment with UVB just a couple hours a day instead of just always on...
Yes. A huge difference. It wouldn't work. Lol.
I'll do my best to explain. Lol.
Basically in parallel config the leds all get the same V, and then divide the available amps accordingly between them. Like a community well they all draw from. Keeps the V low, and allows for alot of expansion.
In series the V adds up for every led added to the chain, and they're given a set current to use.
Like the well being rationed. V can easily get too high, and overload things because of the cumulative effect.
That's why you don't see a 600h in CC version. The V would get to be too high for safe usage.
Above 250v you're getting to overload limits on connectors and wiring.

If I crank that sucker up to 100%, it can't be linear in heat increase, like 2x 92° right lol
Nope, not linear.
Driver would probably sit around 120* ish if you cranked it up max. Just a guess though. Lol.

When I was testing temps in various builds, I've always seen a fast ramp up to about 85-90% of total heat gain in the first 15 minutes. And up to full temp by about 30 minutes.
I've always ran at least an hour to verify max heat gain.

That's a great price, I didn't have that coupon, but was still way cheaper than anything else. HF is the poor man's toy store lol. If I check the direct bulb on my cmh it's like high 300's. Almost 400* like right on the actual glow bubble. Lol
I got mine at Lowe's. $30.
Really like it alot. Will read and hold max temps read, so I can wave it all over the led face or bulb that I can't look at, and read what the actual high temp is of the led.
