What are these strands on the plant ?

Noticed these straight strands on one of my indoor Gushers plants at day 45. Saw it on both the topside and underside of a few sugar leaves on the top of this plant. Have not noticed anything else unusual, no insects or any real damage on the leaves. Just see a few of the usual fungas gnats. Not sure what to make of it. In the first pic, you can see a bunch of them on the top left. I removed the leaves with the strands and put them under the scope. Any suggestions are appreciated !

Do you vent or run a sealed room? Looks kinda like dandelion poofs that have been chopped by a fan. All the wild native plants around me are blooming like crazy there's all kinds of pollen/dander/particulate in the air.

Hey Dbear - Thanks for your thoughts. You could be right. It’s not a sealed room and things are blooming all over here in New England too, though the dandelions haven’t poofed yet in our yard.

Could be dog hair or cat. Insulation?

Take a look inside your ducting/intake fan & general area where the air supply comes from, might find more traces of the fuzz, if not id say you are prolly in the clear ?

"This" mostly came to mind ????

LMAO ! :)

Any cattails/typha heads from winter around you? Got some on you, and transferred the *hairs*?
I've seen some really weird molds, that can appear hairy, but they were all attached to a gland head, well that is what I call them.

Natta webeblzr...I was looking for a "gland head" or central command for these strands too, but nothing there.

I also ruled out human hair made by a 3D printer, since I don't have a 3D printer : (Scientists use 3D printer to create synthetic hair)

I wonder if a static surface like rubbed balloon could attract enough loose ones to pick off, or help clean them up at all, trichs probably have a good hold on them though huh
That is a good idea too Master Chief. But I got most of them off by cutting off the sugar leaves they were stuck to. There wasn’t more than 10 or 20 strands total. I took a look today at where they were on the plant, and none have returned, which is a bit of a relief. (y)
