Not sorry about the double post! ?
Just thought this little gem from the '80s sums up today's events nicely...
That and IMHO, Sub-hum-ans were one of the more musically complex punk bands from that era.

Nice pull! I agree the Subs were more "prog" than a lot of the punks of the era. And less Nazi than others. I grew up in Idaho in the 70's and early 80's, skinheads were a fact of life. But I digress, I woke up and came here to post Breathin' While Black and this other gem before I even make coffee. Wearing my MonoNeon shirt right meow.

Anybody know the music? Very good after a moonrock hit!
Derek Hynd is a true waterman - drawing insane lines on boards with no fins are just part of his game. IIRC he lives on a catamaran.

I dig it, audio and video. Crazy waves, bonkers coconuts mad mayor of crazytown lines. I'm not a big surfing fan, but I know greatness when I see it.

I don't know the track but it sounds like they may have hired the fifteen years ago version of me to play guitar on it, and I just turned up the distortion and went for it. The rest of the track is better composed than the 6 string wanking might otherwise imply. The guitar seems a little out of place at times, but I like the music.

Citations:

That's a track (loop) I made for a vidya game, allegedly

Anyone else play? I'm mostly a bass player, but I screw around with six strings. My old jam band from the 90's, recorded live in a long-defunct hipster coffee shop, allegedly.
This record actually sold a few thousand copies in Brazil at one point.

Bass player in "Morbid Truth" in my late teens / early 20s. (1 guess which genre we were? lol) and a fusion / punk band "Doc Marvel and the Bright Green Pleasure Machine"

Recently I picked up a pawn shop acoustic guitar - just something to see if I'm still interested...

edit - cool tracks!

Cool beans! I played a lot of acoustic last year, was trying to learn 100 new covers to sing and play solo, made it to about 40.
I just started breaking out the electric 6 again recently.
If you'd only had Gary Numan....what could have been !

The old road band, Electric Circus, (not the one currently operating out of TX) opened for Gary two different times. I feel like he was better at the time.

ARE YOU KIDDING????
Never knew any pics survived!

I'm second from right, with the Jeff Spiccoli hair! (Dang! You can already see that my hair was doomed...)
Our vocalist - rt side - dyed his hair to counter the 4 blonde issue. Even funnier, we initially had 2 white guitars and a white drum set - all changed when we got the first set of pictures back and wondered who swapped out Barbie & the Rockers for us...
We had a lot of fun, played some cool venues, and apparently sold a few CDs in Japan.

I'm so bummed I didn't make a guess, I was going to say "That guy second from right looks like a metal bass player." My hair was doomed too.
