Sour Grapes. An awesome friend bought us an 8th and a gram of crumble. This stuff is knockout good. Its very strong and cerebral. I can see myself getting lost in thought for hours on this strain. It has a citrusy fuel aroma and taste. Love it.

Funny you mentioned that. Asked a coworker what some of her favorites have been as of late so I could grow some plants for her and she mentioned Jenny Kush. No legal/medical market here for flower, but she had taken the road trip to MI and grabbed some from a dispo. I’ll have to be on the hunt for a cut I guess.

I'm vaping on some Russian Snow shake/trim that's mostly popcorn nugs. $100 an oz from the dispo, not bad, but it's definitely a "you get what you pay for" situation.

My plan has been to puff on the cheapest flower I can get my hands on to save money, so my standards are low enough that I'll be happy with my homegrown no matter how it turns out.

Those "shitty hundred dollar ounces from a dispensary" are exactly how I have two Grease Monkey Seedlings growing right now though! I essentially go for strains with genetics and Terpenes that I like the most, and one of the places not far from me sells shake ounces like that, and so far I've gotten the following:

30 (THIRTY!!!!) Seeds of GMO!!!! (Can't wait to try these next year)
1 seed of Gelato #33
1 Seed of Three Blue Kings
1 Seed of Hawaiian Fire

I'll be Honest here; I'd pay the same amount for the Seeds alone of that GMO LOL. The Grease Monkey was early enough in the year that I got BOTH seeds to sprout, and once I'd done that, I put them outside and let them go for a bit. Both plants ended up being female, and I'm pretty happy with the results; One of them is massive and probably the largest plant I've ever grown. Smells great too!

Smoking an early test bud of a CBD plant. No expert, but pretty sure this is one of the 1:1 phenos as I have a nice head glow going. Never really used CBD before, but have high hopes it will help with joint pain and sleep quality(though moving out of the city has already has me sleeping better than before).

I have one pheno hanging and another coming down in about a week; looking forward to sampling both and evaluating the medical benefits.

Edit: after 15 minutes, I am really enjoying this, both body and mind. Everything just feels good.

Lately I've been going for Blue Cheese and Chem D since I love both of them, and while the other jars are curing, I Honestly leave a jar open all the time of Blue Cheese so it's dry enough to smoke..... May not taste as good as the stuff that's curing, but I really don't care; It's still Blue Cheese! LOL. I also grabbed another jar to throw some Chem D in that'll be "opened a lot" so it's dry enough. I'm pretty impressed with the Resin production of Chem D! Like...... It's nuts! just breaking a bud up to grind and my fingers feel like I was working in a glue factory lol.

Where were the Blue Cheese from? I’m still looking for something similar to a plant I ran in my early days of growing…

Had company, then I ran out to the river to catch a walleye and freeze my hands, and now I'm home but the lights are off. I will get a few pics up though. I'm pretty surprised by the amount of frost on a CBD strain.

Not sure what I was thinking. I have the first pheno jarred, so I just grabbed a bud.
I'll still get the other plant/pheno tomorrow. For the life of me I couldn't get a well-focused shot, but I did try. /shrug


This plant had long, tapered, spear-like flowers, you can see the sativa. There is a hint of citrus, but right now the gassy Romulan is most prominent. I've found the Romulan itself tends to mellow from sharp fuel to a more sweet smell after a cure, and expect a simliar change here.
