Picked up some cheapie bags and labels from Amazon with the intention of using when sharing seeds with pH family on down the line. No intention beyond that - just figured it might help the recipient keep things straight.
First deployment was last Friday - gave some seeds to a trusted co-worker (and fellow outdoor grower) as kind of a low-key invitation to the site. We'll see if he bites....

Anyone ever owed a Pelican ?
It is a tool , shaped as a toy.
In the heavy snow, I remember that path being as silent as this photo.
Red and Blue and Dayglo-Green plastic litter amongst my feet, from this vantage. The snow conceals it , although in my heart I know it's there. The grove hugs in tightly all along the path. My kids have been smashing sleds on this spot for over a decade.
Nevermore, this luge is built like a tank.
Took a couple youngsters down to the river today. Harvested Grass, Poplar branch and leaf.
Bunnies been couped up all winter, just like the rest of us.
Warmed up ( closer to freezing ?)
I dont take the Lad down there below -10C
Some fresh forage seemed in order.
My Pelican musher and his load.
He woulda been content to stay out.

Went to urgent care , got my stitches taken out! Eye has de swelled a lot but still purple and above where ditches are a big ol lump ( half size when it happened thankfully)
what a week, but makes me thankfull in so many ways cause I was so lucky I didn’t lose my eye or die.
for dinner went to Dairy Queen got their 1/2 lb hamburger and fries… that’s what’s up

last week (wed) I was working out in the flower room and I fell directly onto the cement floor. the reason why I had a seizure was I missed my morning daily dosage of my rx … anyways i was so out of it I literally walked out of grow room and was able to take off my glasses, construction helemnt and glasses and put them in correct spot ( no memory of doing it) but I did gain temp Conscience/memory when I was inbetween my flower room and my house. I was so out of it I didn’t even realize I ripped open over 6inches of my skin above my eye cause the literal glasses pushed into my skin ( both eyes hurt) . Anyways I was so out of it I was literally trying to enter in my password into the door and I couldn’t figure out why wouldn’t it work? Than I blanked out and I was next to the trash can and trying to enter the password there ( wtf )
‘’anyways it was like 30f out there and I was getting worried and at this time I still didn’t know I had a seizure and all this damage… in my head I thought I got done with all my work? seizures are crazy
anyways I walked to front and knocked on the door ( why didn’t I just use the door bell?) and luckily she heard me knocking on the door in firdt place … well my Whole coveralls looked like I killed someone, my glasses ? for grow room were blood capped. The helemnt had a smack in front and plastic was pushed up.
when I was sent to er I couldn’t even tell them my name, date it was, year.. it was like I woke up to nurses asking me but couldnt say Anything ( example would be a comp app saying not responding ....) . than I had more seizures there and it took multi nurses to hold me down to even get the stitches and misc done. But to me I vanished when they asked me the info at front door and than “woke” up 3 hrs later with stitches and everything done.
it took me a good 3-4 days to even feel right after that , I was so out of it I even lost my password to my computer ( which I have used that same password for it for years….) only lucky thing is I thought I lost my whole cycle and outdoors of 22 pictures. Luckily I had it backed up
first 3 days I couldn’t even look at the leds with glasses on and even regular house lights was too much, plus the pressure and bruising was insane…. From my wrists, hand, knee and anckle, face and eye. I ethier bruised or def twisted and smacked. It was like getting my ass kicked in anyway I could think of and when I was a young boy I was into skateboarding and dirt bikes. So it’s not like I haven’t felt pain. This was mental to whole body ass kicking

My Uncle had Grand Mal seizures when I was growing up. I understood everything you just said, the out of it not really there part, the mental and physical aspects. Damn glad you're alright... he would be fine, and then be quiet, and then he'd just drop. He had a lot of prescription pills he had to take every day. Sadly Cannabis wasn't an option back then.

^ kicked my own ass thats fosure (journal explains it better) but my PPE def saved ME and this is why im down to wear it and tell someone where i'm going n when i'm back ( if someone around) . even when i go on a ladder ill make sure someone is watching at least
amazes me i was able to take off the coveralls, glasses and helment and get out of room and i didnt even know till after the stitches i even torn open my skin like that...

I hope you are now on the mend, without too much more pain. I never knew my father had Grand Mal seizures until I was 12. My mom had gone shopping and I was with my dad. He told me he was going to lay down {Saturday afternoon thang}. 1 Half hour later it was on, fuck me, I had no Idea. I was never more scared in my life. I helped him clean up after he got himself back together. When mom came home, we had the discussion that should have taken place years prior. So glad you came through without any permanent damage {I hope}.

Dude, that is true horror. My younger bro has had serious seizures since a car accident, when he was 8 or so.
The only thing that would come close to being as awful as a seizure, is watching one.

The selzures were happening at the er too and once they gave the rx to me (wasnt there) cause intill then i kept falling back into micro and grand malls . I was super lucky I had someone to tell them my info and history.. also imagine if they didn’t know my rx or if I had seizures. def would of been worse cause they def figured it out and had to apply it ..
Anytime i miss a dosage its def a = seizure
which is a good sign also my rx work, instead of 25-50 seizures ur talking 1-5 total a year ( majority now was stress or forgetting pill)

I‘m all for It bro, just got an Apple Watch Series 7 for this reason and fall alert ?. Once I got one I can’t see me not having one cause it he,ps so much and being hands free ( very helpful ). Shoot the sleep ? health is awesome. thanks for the kind words , just shows appreciate everyday like it could be ur last but also even a small mistake like that for some of us def can have some major consequences.Hope that all this is behind you now. I have a transplanted kidney, and taking my anti rejection drugs is critical too. My wife bought me a sports watch with multiple timer option. I had it set for 9 AM & 9PM. After 5 years It's deeply ingrained in my mind. Heal well brother
