Looks nice! The packaging seems to miss how a German Umlaut works in terms of pronouncing that though; If a Vowel has an E after it, you pretend the two dots are above that vowel (The Umlaut) so it'd be pronounced more like "GUrta" where the U us pronounced while your lips are almost making an E sound at the same time.

It's delicious ?. My German great aunt used to make it from scratch, but this is the best commercial brand imo. I love the crunchy oat bits in it

Ever had "Kraut Brot" ? In English it's Cabbage Bread, and my grandma used to make that before she passed and now my mom makes it. I feel like those would be awesome together!

Home made German food is pretty hard to beat :)

I sure haven't but sounds good. Great aunt Edna made Kooka bread , which was a crusty cinnamon streusel bread. Lost that recipe unfortunately. My father, brother and I were nicknamed Kraut when we were younger because of our love of sauerkraut. Especially mixed with my mashed taters.

Oh I do love Sauer Kraut ! the Cabbage that goes into the Bread is boiled with spices, and generally my Mom and a bunch of my Aunts come over to make it together, and they make it all day, and distribute it out to all of us like my Grandma used to. I'll see if I can get a copy of the recipe from my Mom and put it up on here for you guys.

The Wife wants to try making it with actual Sauerkraut instead of the boiled seasoned Cabbage, and I've never had it that way and really wanna try LOL. Also putting some Sausage in that wouldn't be the worst idea haha.

The Cinnamon Streusel bread you are describing reminds me of my Grandma's home made Cinnamon Rolls recipe she used to make starting in like November (when it got to be fall and Winter was coming, my Grandma would start making the Cabbage Bread and Pies and Cinnamon Rolls all from scratch) and my Aunts would come over and help make dough and all that, and MAN I haven't eaten those Cinnamon things in YEARS. From what I've heard someone in my family should have the recipe though.
