I am trying out 3 meals a week with GOODFOOD. They deliver it in a box the stuff is good for 1 week and everything is prepacked. You wash cut and cook to directions.

It was delicious..

Sticky Balinese-Style Chicken
with Turmeric Rice & Spiced Greens

The clash of vibrant colours and warm aromas in this dish will transport the whole family to the swaying green palm trees, emerald blue waters and rugged volcanic coastlines of Bali. It all starts with the chicken marinade, which features tamarind and citrus zest, giving the grilled meat a sticky, sweet tang. Next you’ll sauté string beans and Asian greens until crispy but tender, and add a touch of turmeric to give the rice that yellow sun-splashed radiance, along with more citrus for garnish. Don’t forget to savour every last bite

Haddock in Brown Butter Sauce
Zesty Couscous & Apple-Kohlrabi Salad

In this deliciously quick and easy recipe, you’ll top haddock fillets with decadent brown butter dotted with sliced almonds and enlivened by citrus. Your fluffy couscous will be infused with maple syrup and garnished with zest, for a beautiful balance of grounded and citrusy flavours. The textural high point of the meal comes from the salad: every bite of this apple-kohlrabi side will serve up mouth-watering, sunshiny crunch.

Fantastically delicious. and once i got everything in place it took 20 minutes.

I paired it with a giant gagger of a doob...oiler...hash...fluffy ground Magnum PI...Hey Tom come on over for dinner!

Smoked some country style ribs this morning with mesquite and then put them in the crock pot with some stock and some bullion, then onto the grill to finish. Meatballs smoked with applewood and a maple glaze with a slice of jalapeno. Mashed potatoes and gravy from that stock/drippings from the ribs. Asperagus seasoned with some melted cheese and cornbread mini muffins. Idk if everyone has the Dave's cornbread mix available at their local markets, but if you do give it a go. Hands down the best cornbread I've ever had

@OldG I think I might check out the site you're getting your meals from....

Al pastor tacos tonight. That orange looking sauce is no joke. Delicious, but a little will light your ass up.

I know there's a company or two in the US that ship meals, idk about quality or prices though. Worth a google maybe....

Edit... Just looked, at least 5 options popped up. Check it out

Well I ate dinner so tough shit on pictures ;)

chopped misc veggies : okra , sweet peper, green onion , celory , garlic + fiesta Sauce at end
jasmine rice after 5-10 minutes so veggies get “cooked “ and then flip the rice 1-2 every 4minutes. After that turn off the bbq and combine the meal.
(On stove vs bbq ) 1lb of lobster mushroom in cooked in butter and cooked for 10-15 minutes slowly and then combined all together = than your done

yum!

have you ever smell lobster mushrooms? They literally smell like fish right out of the bag and if you were blind you would think someone. Is cooking fish , slight fishy taste when eating ( not as strong) but I really like em. just pricey

Ya I'm going to grow peppers next year. I haven't in a couple years and really miss it. We are doing green chili burgers tonight from New Mexico hatch green chili's. I'll take pics if I remember lol

Oh man, that's another favorite! Hatch chilis are so slept on outside the NM area, never see them out here... I think I just decided to plant them next year lol

We grew a pablano variety called ancho this year.
Its a smaller variety that produces the dried red peppers used for enchilada sauce and man are they producing. They are a late performer too.
Very spicy in the yelllow phase of ripness.

I usually try to do a mix of those and the big poblanos every year actually, but outside of my habeneros my peppers were a disaster this season
