That backstrap was so good last night that I've been craving steak again. Elk steak tonight, sauteed mushrooms and onions, baked potato, and broccoli with cheese. I make a butter sauce for elk steak that goes really well with it, couple tablespoons drizzled over the top ?

So I've mentioned before 90% of the meat I eat is locally raised.... well 90% of the time it's not its frozen tourtiere, tonight with one of my hens eggs on top 20201027_214248.jpg

If your curious.... the other 10% of 10% is a mix of canned corn beef hash and fast food/slap burgers... If I'm gonna eat bad I like to eat REAL bad

Super easy, we tried blue apron and another food delivery in the past this is way better, more expensive but I can see us using this service.

Edit - the tiki marsala chicken was good too.

Home made Cheese and Garlic with heirloom garden tomatoes from Italy that I have been growing for 25 years...You can't find this flavor in a can...or a jar...unless I put it there.
The one and only...25 years ago I got these seeds on a trip to Italy. Over the years in my selections, besides flavor I have always selected for more meat less seeds...I sometimes get 3/4 lb tomatoes with less than 50 seeds!
