Portabella Scampi.............4 large portabellas sliced, two sticks butter, 4 heads of garlic.......cooked like shrimp scampi....in the end the mushrooms give up to much liquid. Solved and enhanced with a quick rue........ 1/4 cup heavy cream and 1 tbs flour. Figure 2 large shrooms per person........it's unreal good. There will be no leftovers. portobelloscampi.jpg

Sounds delicious, we cook portobellos in butter as a side once in a while. Might have to try this.

I've been craving the fish tacos I posted back in the beginning of this thread. Smoked sockeye salmon, beer battered and fried. Homemade chipotle in adobo sauce with shredded cabbage. I can't explain how good that smoked salmon chipotle sauce combo is. The fried smoked salmon pieces have a bacon ish flavor. Mmm so damn good.
