I was only on RIU, although I'd sometimes scan the other forums for info on specific strains I was trying to research. I saw Thenotsoesoteric's (assuming he's using that same name on here) post on IG about here right around the same time I was getting frustrated with all the other alternetives, and so far this is seeming like it could very well become my new home lovely place you got going here. I"m just a small fry newcomer, only been doing this for a few years now in a state that very much frowns upon what I do. But it is my ultimate passion and nothing will come between me and my love for growing plants of all kinds.

Hello, nice to see so many familiar faces over here (Reallybigjesusfreak) on RIU. Just a question for ya, how long to you generally let a plant flower before you pollinate? Have you found a time that works best, or does it tend to be strain dependent? Trying to answer those questions myself but always looking for input. Thank you.

I'd say it is more strain dependent as you are trying to balance maturation time and maximized seed yield. In general, it's around week 3-4, but longer flowering plants may be better pollinated at week 4-5. For example, I usually wait until around day 34 on Chems, but day 24 on some Skunks. I like to pollinate when the buds are within the size range of between a blueberry and a grape.

hah I went crazy and hit pretty much everything with it. Original Berry (think candy blueberry terps), Chocolate Fire Cookies, StrawDiesel x C99, Pre98 Bubba, Violet Velvet, and I think thats it? Theres also some chocolate Diesel Pollen in there.

Gotta give a yuuuuuge' shoutout to Useful (whom I dont believe is here....yet) for the pollen gift.

Imho we're all about the plant and the friendships that grow with it. Lol
Whether it be a noob, or master grower.
Everybody starts somewhere. ?
Atm most all of the folks on here are pretty dang bad ass growers, with a mix of pros and masters thrown in to boot. Lol.
Alot of breeders and chuckers are members on here too.
All for the love of the plant mang. ???

I am sure there will be some noobs trickling in soon ( at least i hope so). The site is very new and i'm sure they will start showing up. One thing is for sure they will be helped not ridiculed for being new like some sites. I love answering new growers questions because it can be overwhelming trying to learn. At least i know it was for me. Plenty of knowledge willing to help on this site. @Dino Party were you able to get hold of useful and pass along a invite.
