Answered Which of these would be most effective for extracting cannabis for edibles?

Have a few options for the edibles I’m about to run... I’m just going to go with regular coconut oil, but I have a few other options, including liquid coconut oil, grape seed oil, and mct oil, are any of these more effective than the others for extracting decarbed bud?

Clarified butter is the champ for absoption and MCT is right up there. Grapeseed is right around coocnut oil

I think i will do a clarifed butter run next...

I wonder how it converts if I was to use rosin instead of flower. Gotta chart for that ??

i usually double the percentags for rosin...and if its really good rosin it doesnt go into edibles.

Speaking of which...i have to roll up a greasy topanga rosin doob...if i can find a paper.

Time to do something...rolling is a good place to start.

clarified butter can get staggering and i have not found a ceiling with coconut oil yet but keep it at around 30 to 50mg per ml.
avocado, MCT, olive oil just taste like crap when infused. They get a nasty after taste i am not fond of

Coconut oil is the oil one i can chew up a piece without wretching...so i usually get it by the costo jar.

I just ordered the Ardent FX so i can do a QP at a time decarb. I will check it out ina week or so.

I stocked up on citric acid, guar gum, platinum grade gelatin and jello. Time to make a bunch of gummies. Citric acid really helps the shelf life and gives them a nice sour tang.

How much citric you putting in yours old G?

How much or how strong would it be to use a lb of butter to 1-2 oz decarbed herb? And if it's decarbed, how long do I let it steep in butter? Sorry if already answered, after buying some medibles online, figured it was time to go back to Makin some butter. I'd buy some gummies but I don't want to trip lol just be knocked out or go to sleep.

I ONLY make my gummies etc with ROSIN..Supply is no problem, and there is no weed taste..Mucho el STRONGO too! LOL

I have the 1st Ardent which is plenty big for rosin..flower needs a few runs should I decarb flower. Note: if you eat decarbed flower..watch for green colored waste (as in piss and crap)..I kid you not.

You know whats weird...a fresh chopped bud decarbbed. When you eat that it is the texture of a honeysuckle. Very unusual and the terps are stronger and more intense.

It works. .You have to use the silicone sleeve and man did that come on HARD. Freight train to the mind and body.

I made a bunch of hash yesterday and today i will decarb 5 grams of kief and add it to 1 batch of coconut oil gummies (15 grams of decarbbed strong buds only to make 120ml). They should make 40 gummmies at about 130 mg THC per gummy....coming in hot.
These will be a different flavor and colour so i can distinguish them. For chronics only.
It is Dubstep and OilSlick hash so it should pump up the non sleepy on the gummies. The topanga ones are some serious lights out rhino droppers. I dinged myself hard last night but wow did i sleep good.

The Ontario pot store here sells a single 10mg gummy for 8 dollar...lol so 1 of those gummies would cost around 100 bucks. How crazy is that.

PS these edibles are for my mom...s she’s moving to Puerto Rico 90 day fiancé style with her new boyfriend who’s the same age as me...she asked me to send her down with “stuff to have a good time” I’m sure he’s a nice guy and whatever the fuck, but that doesn’t change the fact that I am putting an ounce of de carbed flower in @OldG s gummy recipe for two relative weed virgins ?... This is my first time decarbing. The buds got cut and washed 3 days ago. So theyre still wet/fresh. How soon can I decarb?

Your weed is too green for cooking with. Let it dry out in front of a fan.........it doesn't have to be pretty. I'm a stoner but I swear washed bud drys faster.... when it's dry decarb in the oven @ 240*f for 40 minutes.............or 325*f for 5 minutes for smaller amounts. Hard to know when wet weed is correctly decarbed.

I know that they are expensive, but the Nova's decarb perfectly every time..flower or rosin.

That reddish color of decrabed buds was an eye opener for me. The trouble with ovens and toaster ovens is that they constantly vary the temps to get to what is set. With this thing, you push a button and return to PERFECTLY decarbed product every time. I have the original smaller version.
