Have a few options for the edibles I’m about to run... I’m just going to go with regular coconut oil, but I have a few other options, including liquid coconut oil, grape seed oil, and mct oil, are any of these more effective than the others for extracting decarbed bud? 8C5DD028-BAE4-45C2-8599-AE29624E8FE3.jpeg

Here's a handy chart for you.
Note the butter listed is clarified butter.

PS these edibles are for my mom...s she’s moving to Puerto Rico 90 day fiancé style with her new boyfriend who’s the same age as me...she asked me to send her down with “stuff to have a good time” I’m sure he’s a nice guy and whatever the fuck, but that doesn’t change the fact that I am putting an ounce of de carbed flower in @OldG s gummy recipe for two relative weed virgins ?... I’m trying to send this fool on a ride he won’t forget.... ?

Just remember ..Your mom is more than likely going to be on the same ride as that "fool"!
?
If you're making gummies...you'll probably want the "fat (oil)" that is most solid at room temperature..no?

Otherwise, you'll need more gelatin..
yea I think you were right, I opted for the liquid coconut oil, because I was thinking it would come out nice and clean, which it did, But they could have been thicker....And yes... I should of been more clear, I want both of those fuckers to be on this ride... shes moving to puerto rico with some dude shes known for a whole 6 months. I would like these edibles to be as "introspective" as possible with a hint of psychotic meltdown LULZ

Deebs..
Lol..
Reminds me of the run-away trains we used to have with a co-ed slow pitch team we used to have..We'd head to mountains and buy up all the permits for this small camp site we went too...
Bonfires, Beer and Extreme Bocchi...which was essentially Bocchi in the middle of the bush...:)

Maybe it was best that we didn't have the idea of your infused bacon grease... throwing these acrylic cannon balls around. :)

Butter by far has the best absorbtion....i tried avocado..didnt like it..mainly I stay with organic solid looking coconut oil...tell you what else worked fantastic is the bacon grease I cooked with, came out ?
those 3 are the best.

clarified butter can get staggering and i have not found a ceiling with coconut oil yet but keep it at around 30 to 50mg per ml.
avocado, MCT, olive oil just taste like crap when infused. They get a nasty after taste i am not fond of

Coconut oil is the oil one i can chew up a piece without wretching...so i usually get it by the costo jar.

I just ordered the Ardent FX so i can do a QP at a time decarb. I will check it out ina week or so.

I stocked up on citric acid, guar gum, platinum grade gelatin and jello. Time to make a bunch of gummies. Citric acid really helps the shelf life and gives them a nice sour tang.

I picked up this instant pot Omni at Walmart for 150 bucks... the decarb was spot on... has a dehydrate function for some quick drying in a jam... I have had a chance to run it a few times now and I really like it... temps are spot on and distributed nice and even according to meey ir thermometer... temp range is 85F~600F in increments of 1 :) .... 72 hour timer and lots of different options for different trays and stuffs image.jpg

Ardent did some testing...decarbbed weed does not lose potency over time. So you can decarb and store it in jars for future use.

I keep mine seperate by type

Sativa
Hybrid
Indica.

then i make gummies for daytime and nighttime use and then some for when you just want to forget how to tie your shoes.

I make a gummy for that.

Eating the buds decarbbed is very interesting too. Harshly bitter but the terps really come out in the flavor. I can tell purple punch from dubstep from stardawg from whatever. They taste uniquely different.

And 4 grams of buds...thats 800 to 1000 mgs of THC..

BOOM.

I find 300 to 500 is just about right for gardening outside followed by pool cleaning and a swim. My bicycle has more miles than my car now :D

I turned green by accident.
