Hey Gang,
No, WillieP has not fallen off the planet!
Just really busy in my world. Still growing, all is well, I just don't have as much time to spend enjoying the PH side of life.
I have two plants in flower at the moment.
The first is a Orange Cookies X Chocolate Diesel. The second is a Headspace X Black Congo IX.
Both are 44 days into flower.
I have taken clones of both, and I am taking clones of the clones for my friend's cannabis class.
The HS x BC seems to take to cloning better.

This is the OC x CD...
Starting to bulk up and get frosty.

This one is going to take a bit longer, but I'm OK with that.
Big stretch with this one. I had to take drastic measures to contain her.

And Yes, the last photo did remind me of Animal from the Muppets. (And I wasn't even high at the time.)

On a different note, @Frimpong, Cherry Rolls and Cinnamon Mittens just got wet today. (Really excited about them.)

I have to agree, that plant was a looker.

As far as pot sizes go, I usually use a 7-gallon fiber bag, but recently I am trying 5-gallon traditional plastic pots.
I may buy some 5-gallon fiber pots to try them. I like the roots growth pattern in the fiber pots, I'm just not sure if I need them that big indoors.

BTW, I have mentioned that I am not good at identifying smells. (I wish I was better at it.)
But this HS x BC has a strong citrus smell (specifically, grapefruit.) mixed with pine.
Very interesting. And if I can smell it, it must be distinct.

Thanks man..The biggest I use inside are 3 gallon fiber but I don't let them get huge before flip...Been hunting alot and pack bunches in so alot of times only one gallon, I can see all I need to see...Once i take a break and grow from clone 5s are perfect for me..Been having so much fun hunting tho I think I'll be at it awhile🙂 Surely have found some really nice stuff this past year...Most of that goes credit to the fine folks right here at phenohunters💯

I'm still kicking. I just don't seem to get on much with everything else that is going on in WillieP's World.
I looked at the OC x CD last Saturday with the scope and decided it needed another week.
Well...
I just looked at it again and I still don't get the "chop that thing" vibe.
It's still pounding on the weight, and the plant still looks healthy.
I'm certainly not short on weed, so she gets to live a bit longer.
Y'all look at the pics and give me your thoughts...

BTW, 70 days today since I flipped her.



The only other plant I have in flower is the Headspace X Black Congo IX.
I know that it will take a significant time longer to finish (12-14 weeks)
So, it's not even close.


I would however ask your input on that plant as well.
It is very Sativa, and I am not experienced growing that type of plant.
It is in the exact same environment and has received the exact same nutrients as the OC x CD.
But she looks rough to me. Under fed maybe???
I did not anticipate the amount of stretch that I would get with the plant, and I over vegged her.
She wanted to outgrow the tent. She is only in a 5-gallon pot. And I feel like I'm starving her.
She clones really easily, and I may flower out a smaller plant just to see if I can do the genetics justice.
If she was yours, what would you do differently?
All input, positive or negative is always welcome.

If she were mine ide up the bloom nutes and calmag a couple times...But we all use different nutes and methods

I remember reading something about the THC being exposed to oxygen for long periods of time, leading to some sort of oxidation/ degradation. Am I correct in saying the THC can somehow become cbn?
I am relying a little bit on memory, and a lot on imagination.

Here's my point. You mentioned that you have no shortage of finished flowers.

We grow our flowers and observe the heads because when they turn from clear to milky they have peak amounts of X
If the heads continue to mature deep into Amber they have less X, and start becoming more Y

What happens to buds when you store them too long?
Is that CBN ?
Is CBN (Y)
Is there such thing as cbn?

I just don't have the brain power to Google it right now.
If you leave flowers growing too long do they net the same result as leaving them in a jar too long ?

And is that effect accumulative?
Does harvesting a plant later decrease its shelf life?

I may have made most of this up, but I sure did have fun thinking about it.
And if I managed to put the commas in the right spots, you may have had fun reading about it.

I just up-potted the next round from Solo cups to 1/2 gallons.
I've got Cherry Rolls and Cinnamon Mittens on deck. (@Frimpong)
I'm a little off on my scheduling. I was playing with making clones and didn't drop some seeds when I should have.
It's all good though.

Here's hoping all y'all's gardens are doing well!

As a matter of fact, I ran that twice and was really happy with it.
I liked it well enough that I kept a cutting of it, you know, just in case. LOL
But I'm going to shut down the tents for summer so the three plants that I have vegged up ready to flip are going to a friend of mine to grow outside and hopefully become trees.
They are the OC x CD and two of Freaks, his Cherry Rolls and Cinnamon Mittens. I have also run those twice. @Frimpong
I'm not in a place where I can grow outside, so I am excited to see what they will do.
I am dropping them off with him tomorrow.

Get some pics...Them girls were enormous inside can't even imagine out..I think I'm going to slow it down a bit for the summer myself..Got a preservation to do and got some testers going..perhaps get a couple long sativa's going
