@Dino Party somebody stole your picture....
hahahahahaha thats pretty damn good dude!@Dino Party somebody stole your picture....
LOL. Thanks Buck. I agree she is a beast. That White Widow is something to behold...Do you open the tent slowly in case she's at the door ready to bite you? Looks like the tent monster from the green swamp...
Thanks for the kind words GC.Everything is looking killer Willie!
On the note of the variegation, the genetic makeup of the clone would be identical to the mother plant, which isn't any different for the specific branch, so I'm fairly certain that the resulting plant would have some variegated branches and some normal ones just like the donor plant.
Yeah, your exactly right. You could breed for variegation if you wanted too, it just not something that appeals to the cannabis world. But that's how we wound up with variegated pothos and monsteras etc. In the natural world the variegation was uncommon but it was considered a desirable trait for house plants so it was systematically selected for over multiple generations until the offspring would routinely show that trait. Thanks for the kind words GC.
What you say makes sense to me. The genetic makeup would be the same in every branch of the mother or the clone.
So that got the wheels a turning...
If you chose to, I assume that you could actually attempt to breed for that particular trait, just like any other trait.
Mom with variegation, Dad with variegation, pheno hunt the seeds, etc., etc., ext...
I don't really see a practical reason to do so, (which is why I'm guessing it hasn't been done), but I personally think it would be really killer to have an entire plant with variegated leaves.
I've heard of strains with 'duck foot leaves', I wonder if that was a natural thing, or if it was intentionally breed for??
Just me thinking out loud.

Might be kinda neat having variegated buds, lol, as long as it didn't affect potentcy, and or other negative effects to the plant.Yeah, your exactly right. Wow stunning!! Yeah I always have issues going back to flower . Plant can get confused. Can't wait to see Mango's!!Thank you Gentlemen for the insight on the variegation topic. Much appreciated.
Everything in the Veg tent is the same-same. The two little Chosen Mango look amazing, and the Pink Lotus just doesn't want to come back out of flower mode.
This was my first attempt at putting a plant into 12/12 for the purpose of sexing, and I have to say that I do not think I am a fan. It just seems to take way too long to switch back to veg, and it is throwing off those weird re-veg type leaves and all. I know it is just a matter of time, and patience, but I'm not digging it. I just read about taking clones and putting them in 12/12 for the purpose of sexing, and that may be my method on the next attempt.
Anywho...
The flower tent is really stinky, I think I need to change the carbon in my filter.
The White Widow is starting to fade hard. Still getting frostier, I think.
I will look at it with a scope today.
