We have the turkey vultures as well, but these two red tail hawks are the stars of the show, they seem to be waiting for their fledgling to fledge (if I got the terminolgy right). I will be watching the nest closely.

Today I will deviate from the standard fare of the litany of grow room fails , and share success story
Last time I drove my thunder bird -when I re-started it , she was firing a deadmiss. I drove it home sounding like a helicopter, and super pissy because I just spent a wad, repairing my lower oil hose. I tend to hold a grudge- because was two years ago.
Today, I needed to free up a parking spot so it was time to play ‘ musical battery’.
I dug through a box of guts and bits ,finding a distributorless coil from my former parts car . Stopped off at the auto store and purchased a single wire. I jacked the car and replaced the wire running closest to the exhaust, then RandR’d the pack.
I nailed it on my first guess.
Dunno if it was the pack or the wire,,,
She idles so sweet, and I don’t GAF,,

Still don’t know what the neighbour is building. Chevy stopped using orange block paint , what ? 50 years ago? That thing is injected ; the intake is not correct for orange.

All ok for now @Cattapilla. The clay is fat, anymore rain is fleeting directly toward the rising river, now. That is always a treat.
My daughter girls were with me. They got these photo’s.
We were driving West , into this.
We tucked under the leading edge.
Just when we arrived , the bottom drops out.
My son was following us, on his bike.
Poor kid didn’t have a wienie warmed up before the rain hits.
He is looking at me , like I got solutions ,,,
I told him he had about thirty seconds to get his helmet back on, or he would be the fourth kid in the back seat, on the way home.
He was booking out of the driveway in 60 flat.
Later, he told me, that it rained on him for the first mile. He stayed ahead of it, by making 100 km in 45 mins, with that beast over his left shoulder the whole way. Made it home dry, and the hail was beating the garage before he had the door closed.
Kid doesn’t smoke, drink, or do drugs. Imagine my smile, as he describes with all of exuberance’s passion , the ridiculousness of the vivid colours, the terrifying smell of the ionic charged prairie, the paranoia of culverting during a twister, the elation of racing against The Mother, the smug joy of evading demise.
Kid is high on life.
He is TwentyOne, and has a habit of spending his pay-checks on tools, and nice rides.
Hell, his older brother works a Mcjob , and lives in HIS basement.
As a Parent - I couldn’t be happier.

Three or four devastating hailstorms here, in the last 10 years.
Everytime, my T bird was underground, in the shop, or out of town.
Streak continues.

Gotta be honest - that was a crap run.
Made some huge mistakes.
First mistake was allowing the oversized veg.
Secondly, I neglected to reinstall a panel, when I quarter piped the back wall. It allowed light to enter the ceiling. I only realized a couple weeks ago, when the pedestrian door opens, light was filling the rafters. The far right side did not flower properly. I could not see the retarded growth because of the height and density of the canopy. The Affies took the hit for the team There is not a half ounce between three plants. Lots of sugar and fluff.
There would be much ‘consolation’ oil, if not for fatal mistake number three,,,I brought a mite harbouring Tangie into the flower room.
I culled it at three weeks, but the damage was done. Little bastards moved in, on the surrounding Tangies and Affies. I got pissy and heavy handed,,,ended up only finishing 19 of the 24.
All trimming was to the cutting room floor.
No biggy . Lesson learned. The yield suffered, however, I am killing it with quantity.
I will be back with a new bag of tricks.
