Been waiting for this day.

First episode of "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy aired today March 8th 1978.
Beastie Boys dropped their "License to ill", on my ninth Birthday; 34 years ago today.

I strung this along, farther than necessary.
I thought it would make a nice gift to myself, and today is that day.

This song is dead hokey. I don't think anyone takes it that seriously, yet it has been a constant companion through all of my days.
It really caught my attention when I was a kid because I noticed right away that something was really screwy with the baseline. Later in life I have realized it is some kind of 180 Reverb or just plain old reversed.
First thing I ever destroyed with it was a ghetto blaster. It couldn't take the heat, that thing really needed 11.
My brother and I decided it needed to be louder. We tried to wire more speakers to our parents cabinet record player. We knew about positives and negatives; but we understood nothing about parallels and series.
AdRock burn that mother down.

14 years old, off to Radio Shack with my older brother , and we bought a pair of 15 in drivers and a set of passive crossovers. I let him do the math, and I contributed by doing all of the soldering, and stealing the 4 in PVC venting from the AGT yard.

This was pre-internet days. MCA helped us discover " hair shows " all on our own.
My brother and I would park in front of our own channel, and use the port to blow our hair back.
CD players were just coming out and I would bring girls over and buzz there prives with Paul Revere.

I had a 10 inch sub face up in the cab of my truck. My old lady used to straddle it when we were out country cruising.
One night she dump her drink over and filled the entire cone of the sub with beer. Not wasting a moment I switched 'er over to Paul Revere. I outright atomized half a Pilsner into my cab. She must have smelled like Mike D, when I dropped her off early that morning.

Today it is blutoothed wireless to the Arcam Blink, piped through the Carver and out the Cerwins

I paid more than $100 for the gate fold on discogs, just so I could admire the plane crashing into the building.
I keep getting older but I don't seem to grow up.

Jewels in the basement, mixing up the medicine.
Bunny compost

Priarie fluvial loam (sage compost)
Clay heavy, those two mounds are showing my pistol grip.

Fresh Elk
It is chock-full of what looks like a combination of potato bugs and giant marijuana seeds.
Most of them look masticated, although I imagine a few of them will pop.

I am tired of watching my plants dry out over night with + %50 coco.
I am mixing this batch heavier -with clay and compost. Nothing under 3 gallon.
Looking at flowering 20-30 plants.

I am going to need a whole shitpile of soil.
Luckily I have a few piles around here matching that description.
20200309_152620_HDR.jpg
In the foreground is a fabric pot full of expired coco. I mend this in with stable sweepings, Timothy Hay , Romaine luttuce ( 10 gallons per week) and hamster bedding.

10 years I have been turning that pile.

Every Spring I harvest 5 gallons of Creek muck and mix it with 5 gallons of red shale. This becomes the media in my fishpond, as a biological filter, all summer. Up north here, by springtime, after all of the melt and thaws , it is getting anaerobically ganky down there.

I grow climbing peas every year.
Every Spring I cycle the 'nitrogen fixed' soil from the raised beds and refill them with cold compost. I aim to grow Alfalfa this year as well, as I understand clover has the same fixing abilities.

The stack is about 3 feet high. I use the axe to cleave and turn the pile all winter.
During the summer I keep it covered with a thick blanket of leaf litter. I can literally hear the nightcrawlers moving through it after dark.

So, that is my mix in progress.

This is my month!
7 girls down !
I am harvesting continuously, right through till the end of the month, the grand finale of course -Two L. comp.
12 girls to go !

Like it or lump it -everything flips at the end of the month.
I still have seeds in towel !
Time to spread this brown love around and blow this s*** up !
This is my last indoor veg I am shutting h'er down, tearing it apart ,and building my daughter a bedroom down there.

I better tie this one off, I don't think I have many secrets left.

I ain't necessarily doing right by these.
They are the oldest seedlings and I am trying to slow them down.
I use a real light mix with seedling pots -there is nothing in there for them. They are a few weeks old and, I have been lazy,,, giving them baby food.

I have already stolen off of this thing.
It was a monster.
20200310_141349.jpg
I pretty much killed this thing when I went skiing last week with the light on . It is in a tiny little pot -stupid thing looks not much bigger than a hard hat.
It can't be much more than a gallon.
I don't know what I was thinking.
20200310_141458.jpg
Funny I noticed that the larfy little buds stayed green and continued to grow. It was the tops that cooked off.
I kept putting water to it for a bit, but ,
She wasn't really into it.

Wicked good yielder. I'm really happy with this strain. I bet I get 9 joints off this thing !
I also noticed the seeds happened to be on sale right now.

Website says 60 to 70 days. This is 63. She has nothing left to give.
Ovate elongated calyxes, tight buds, and good stench.

I still have a solid mother in veg.
I would do that again.
