First grow strain suggestions.

That one on the back left I seeded probably 3 weeks after the others. You can see how small it was in the previous picture. Not only did it pop up fast its growing far faster than the others. Bad/ Good sign? Running light at level 5 24/7. Interior fan on for 8 off for an hour.

3 dont seem to be taking. 2 just poping now up now after weeks. What type of time frame am I looking at for sexting?

Hey, looking good.

As far as the seedling starting slow then taking off…Experience has shown me some plants prefer to build root space before pushing new growth primarily, the late vigor may be that. As far as sexing…6-9th node for me…5 weeks roughly

I've had plants show as early as 3 weeks and as long as 9 weeks lol there's a trick to getting them to show early if you absolutely need to know asap I think it was the rev that said you start your seeds at 12/12 for the first 10 days of life above ground, then switch to 18/6 and you'll have them show by day 30. This practice is especially useful when hunting very long flowering landraces. I do solo cups till they sex, most of the time it takes about 6 or 8 weeks at 18/6 in my grow

Are you able to set your lights on 18 hours? As far as identifying sex, there's a few companies that you can send a small leaf smoke in to get tested. I've had great experience with leaf works. It's $10-15 per sample and takes about 10 days to get results. I just snip off one of those first little round baby leaves after they establish their first set of true leaves.

Yeah - I can set all sorts of timers and ratios in the software.

cool, I'd set it to 18 hours of light for veg. It looks like you had 100% germination when you were soaking them so I'd maybe give em a few more days to sprout out of the soil. If they don't, I gently try to dig in there and see what's up. It's possible that maybe they were set to deep or when they were watered they sank a little bit.

Yeah, when they didn't come up very quick I thought I probalby put them in too deep.

All part of the learning process. I've done it plenty of times myself. I would be careful to not overwater them at this stage too. I've lost plenty of seedlings from overwatering. Get used to how heavy the container feels when watered so that you can judge when they need more. Gotta train those little roots to grow and search for water. What kind of soil and nutes are you using?

I used an 5g tank I had laying around. Put the bags in and gave it water until it wicked up havent' watered since. I use the water from my aquariums after I do a water change and I drop the ph so it's in range. When I was looking for organic the stores had nothing as out of season. I found that promix marked down only bag and broke open. Worm casting and some 4-4-4- starter.

Shoot sounds like you're good to go! You're a lot better off than I was when I first started growing!

3d printer is handy. Originally was going to print a water spike but then glanced over at my brine shrimp hatchery rig and had an idea.
I'll put it maybe an inch off the bottom. Could do tiers or sit one on top as well. I can attach in the tent or hang it outside the tent and run the hose through.

Opened the tent this morning and got my first wiff.

Just a small wiff to let me know it's real. Nothing pungent or flavorfull yet. A tease. Things have moved very fast since last pics. I topped two of them. The smaller one I had transplanted that was doing horrible has grown signifcantly and is catching up to the other two plants. Now I'm starting to keep a daily eye out for male / female and thinking about how to best put them on that net. I've also have a heating pad under the tent as this concrete floor is still cold and I'm concerned about that on the roots. The heat insn't consistent as I'd like it as this pad has a two hour timer auto shut off on it and I'd really like it to cover the entire 2x2 area but I think it's helped. I also 3d printed some honeycombs to keep the bags off the ground and focus and hold some of the heat from the heating pad under them. Need to print a few more but it's been working well.

As for nutrients I haven't used any other than my aquarium water. I've got three - 5 gallon buckets setup at the moment. I mix in some rainwater to help drop the higher PH of my aquarium water, and I have some ph down if it's still high. I also have air stones running in two of the 5 gallon buckets and 1 sponge filter in the first. My first bucket holds the majority of sediment from vaccuming the tanks. Before I do a top watering I stir up the water to get everything mixed in the water column. I also have an idea to dry out a portion of the aquarium sediment and use it as a top / and or soil amendment. This would contain a lot of nuets good calcium from all of my broken up snail shells, plant matter, shrimp molts etc. I may do a heavy vaccume today, if I have time, and set something up for drying out. Maybe a heatplate and 13x9 aluminium pan. Not hot and sunny enough out here yet to dry in the sun.

My watering cycle has been .5 liter of when I feel the grow bags get lighter.

Now I want a bigger tent.
