Yesterday I had to take 4 plants outside. They were a little too big for my tent. There's a few more totally ready to go outside, but at least now there's more room, and the smaller ones aren't being choked out.

4 seeds didn't pop after transplant into the Tent, so I tossed those cups into my soil pile outside. Can't remember all 4 right now, but Bangers and MAC was one of them. It had a seed shell, and a white piece of root that had somehow come apart, which I've never seen before, but, onward!


A little "Sun Shock" with her. I gave her some water after, and she should be fine. Sometimes plants wilt like this after being placed in actual Sunlight.


Cheese doesn't generally do that of course, it loves the Sun.

We went for a short hike out back after this.

Oh, I need to leave myself a reminder:

go in the garden and check the plants when I get back to the house. Look in the pot I tossed the cups in so I know what didn't sprout.

I have noticed in the tent, that 4 of the 5 Alpha Skunk Cheese X Cheetos, are massive. ONE of the seedlings is a smaller one, though that may be due to placement of that one in there, given the size of the other plants, so, we'll see if that one catches up.

Part of me thinks "just toss the runt", given my dislike of ...."Runtz" hahaha.

But I also know other people here would like to try these, and I feel it's my duty to see what each seedling is like, even if one of them seems to be lagging behind the others. I mean it's only ONE plant doing this, out of the 5 I have in there, so I might as well leave it in there for now, and see if it bounces back now that there's a lot more light available to it. I opened the tent up yesterday, and noticed I had one Skywalker in need of water, so, I gave that one some water, and then checked the rest, and watered a few other ones, and after moving 4 plants outside, I re-arranged the remaining plants so that the smaller ones were able to get more light. The larger plants were big enough to block the others from getting any good light so, they had to go outside.

I am TOTALLY getting smells opening the tent now... I can't tell exactly what I'm smelling, as there's so many in there, and they all kind of blend together, but there are for sure smells already, which is a great sign

There are 3 Skywalker plants still in the tent, and the one I moved outside yesterday, had roots coming out of the bottom of the Solo cup. Like literally 14 inches of roots...

One of the Velveeta F1s, had roots not only more than a foot outside the cup, but had roots that started making little root dread locks... I ended up just cracking the bottom of the cup, so I could peel it away and make a large enough opening to get the roots through without damaging them. I managed to get all 4 plants in the new pots without tearing off any roots, so I took the win LOL.

I'm contemplating moving a few more plants outside either today or this weekend, but I'm not sure yet. I know the Chem DMT has roots literally running along the bottom of my tent, which is fine, as I use those plastic things on the bottom, so it doesn't get all wet and dirty, but I can tell she's ready for real Sunlight. the Blue Cheese S1 also could be moved too, along with a few others in there. All 3 remaining Skywalker plants are likely ready to go too, along with 2 of the Alpha Skunk Cheese X Cheetos plants.

I need to think of a name for those... The Mother was Alpha Skunk Cheese, and the Dad is Cheetos, which, basically, it's all Cheese, Skunk, and Chemdog in the lineage, which I like a lot. I'd like to get a stem rub before I decide though, because the smell and other factors will come into play before I decide on a name. I know I need to name them soon though.... I really don't want to try and write "Alpha Skunk Cheese X Cheetos" 5 times on a little tiny white plastic tags I stick in the pots... There simply isn't THAT much room on them LOL.

Hmmmm... Psychobilly Skunk Cheese? Alpha Cheetos Cheese? Cheese and more Cheese? Rotted Skunk Pecker Cheese ? I'll have to sniff them all first. Hoping for something REALLY pungent, which, given the parents, should NOT be a problem.

You could get some There's actually a decent selection of it available just from members here who sell seeds. Susie Cream Cheese, Brisco's Blueberry Cheesecake, Cheetos, and Dead Whabbits are all solid options bro.

LOL, that started out as a joke I made about me disliking sweet / fruity / candy like terpene profiles, and I just sort of ran with it haha. I haven't ever actually smelled a Skunk's Genitals though. I'm not THAT curious. Even if the Skunk isn't circumsized...

But now that is legal to grow it seams it has all but disappeared
I still have some old bag seeds that we grew
I have a pack that says 20 year old seeds that I wrote on probably 15 to 20
Years ago
Have to give them a go at some time

Yeah, I still run some of the bagseed I need to run; The Wife needs Skywalker for medical use, and that's all we've got of that one, so, I go with it. I normally run Chem D bagseed too just because I love that stuff, but I have Chem DMT this season so I'm pretty excited about that.

OK, so the ones that didn't pop, were:
1 GG4 X GSC
1 Greenbay
1 HA OG
1 Pineapple Sorbet

Everything else, including the other Greenbay and HA OG, popped fine, so I'm not worried.

The not Cheese the Wife is making me grow, has had a full recovery.

That Raspberry Ice Cream is not the only plant to ever do that; I actually see that just about every year, with at least one plant. I called it "Sun Shock", though I'm not sure if that is a real thing, or if I just made it up.

Basically, once the plant feels real Sunlight, it starts to wilt like you saw in the earlier image, and then after a bit, they bounce back to normal.

Sunday, May 12th, 2024:


Rotted Skunk Pecker Cheese #1 is officially outside. I did a sniff while putting it in the pot, and the smell is... very much like the mother, Alpha Skunk Cheese, with a little odd VERY sour smell in there too. I have to admit I'm pretty happy with the scent on this one so far.



Chem DMT with some Sun Shock. Just gave her and the others I put outside some water, so I'll give her some time. Smell was inter6 and pungent enough to be smelled through a runny nose of allergy season.

I made it. Basic ashtray. I painted the logo on watercolor paper and cut it out....pulled out the trusty ModgePodge adhesive and stuck it down, them repeated the process with the leopard fabric. Over night to dry then trimmed the extra fabric. Easy peasey.

We had to head into town so I could finish up at my Mom's house, but before we left, I ran outside to get a peak at the plants, and Chem DMT has bounced back

We had some rain at some point in the night, and as I ran out there to look, I see Chem DMT standing tall, and ready to roll

I still have not changed the sign on my project plant, LOL, so, until I get back later and get a better look, it seems to read "Rotted Skank Pecker Cheese" LOL. I'll change it later. There's 4 more of those in the tent, and at least one more ready to go outside of that one. I'll try and get better stem rub info as I put more outside, but I'm very much happy with the pungent blast in the face I get opening the tent. I know plants don't normally have a very strong smell early on, but having some already in there is a great sign.

And yes, in case you are wondering, it HAS in fact dawned on me, that writing out "Rotted Skunk Pecker Cheese" is basically the same amount of writing as "Alpha Skunk Cheese X Cheetos" LOL. Ah well, price you pay for a good name. I really hope that some day, that ends up in a dispensary; Can you imagine someone walking in and saying they want Rotted Skunk Pecker Cheese?? It'll be hilarious !
