Working on some balance. Too many plants going, gonna fix that.
Cleared out veg. Only kept Sour Bubble girls 6 and 9 and male no. 7, Jenny is gone too, just a couple gg4, Skunk 1 and Skittle Mittens seedlings and a Mango Tango x Oilspill male
The hemp (except for 2 of each type) was moved out to the cold frame a couple days ago.
Not doing well, basically just a wind break, last night was down to something like 24F. There's a couple heat mats in there but not expecting them to live through this weekend.
Sour Bubble tent - roughly week 7 should be on track for 60-70 days (advertised at 58) would like to try this one outdoor.
Pulled the Afgaan90 males yesterday.
That last one didn't quite get a full dose of pollen, it was little sheltered but should be good with all the pollen still blowing around in there.
GG4 and CnC hit 10 weeks today or tomorrow
Gonna go a couple more days, only one meatstick this round.

I used the most compact, fastest to set flower male. Short internodes and dense flower clusters.
If the Sour Bubble doesn't pan out smoke quality wise not sure what I'll do. Outdoor seed run? Pretty sure I'm gonna beef out a gg4 or 2 in the shed, if SB is good they will probably go outside, if not then 🤔 🤔 🤔 be hard pressed to to do a seed increase or make gorilla bubble. It's not looking bad per say, just not sure it's what I want.

Those green ones that are sad, is the soil wet ? I've seen that before, where it was too much or not enough water, and though the cold temp may have done what it did, I have seen that before here, and they were OK after a bit.

I have been smoking on one plant for a week straight, but I will circle back to that.
-Germ rate was great
-M:F equal
-Mostly uniform
-Veg not overly vigorous
-Pollen produced seed, everywhere I brushed it
-Stretch is tricky to judge, growing from 12s; the females finished just as tall as everything else in the garden
-Resisted re-veging. Curious, but worth noting. I flowered them out during a daylength-extending, timer mishap. Everything in the garden ended up confused, but the Bubble seemed to hold it together. She produced well with tight bud, while other plants in the room presented loose and leafy.

Comes down to yield, smokability, leaf to bud ratio, and effect.
I like getting to know these girls, so having a jarful helps. Nugs were dense and plentiful. Trimming was average. No complaints on the potency. Gets me where I want to go without my ears ringing or flash sweats. Heads in a happy place without racing heart. Smoke is smooth, it rolls and burns nice. Pleasant in the mouth and easy on the throat. I don't think I am getting the aroma that I expected. If you were to wave it under my nose I think my guesses would be closer to Stardawg than O-peechee gum. If diesel smog was on the opposite end of the scale from light and fruity, this stuff would fall squarely in the middle.
,,, and that might be my only legitimate complaint. Middle is average. Some bags is so tasty you can't help but just shove your nose in there and breathe and breathe and breathe.
