. I feel the science when I use it.

Careful there Buck.

I don't test the runoff unless I see an overfeeding issue, and buck if your having the dreaded cal mag defiency with your leds try bumbing up your room Temps a tad I run mid 80s during lights on and my mag defiency took a hike about the 4th day my conditions were changed
Did you bump nightime temps in turn?

Figured this thread could use a bump lol been following mr greengenes current method of running 321 in veg then switching to a 420 for the first 3 weeks of flower then finishing out at 4-2-.5 grew some of the nicest flowers to date so far using this method, could be just getting better with each grow or GG is onto something as he usually is. Never would have switched to jacks without his guidance but dam am I glad I did

Interesting...........do you have a link to that discussion?

The idea is fantastic. Since i changed my Masterblend Tomato to different concentrations it has worked VERY well for me...same idea. The concept that a nute has the same ratios start to finish and will grow quality buds is stupid.
Notwithstanding organic soil...that is a different thing
Salts into any hydro medium...it needs to change...but salts mean you can manipulate things to desired effect. And the price is as good as it gets !

Masterblend you say? I've been using it 3 yrs now with coco and love it and have been working on altering the amounts for seedlings, veg and flowering.

Full strength is 2.4 gms per gallon. I believe in the kiss method (keep it simple stupid) and currently am using 1 gm per
gallon for seedlings, autos and moms (.5 Epsom & 1 calcium keeping the basic 1 x .5 x 1 mix). For a couple autos it's too strong but the vast majority are doing well. Regulars in veg are 2.5 x 1.25 x 2.5. Now flowering is a bit different depending on the week.
Wks 1-4: 4 x 2 x 2 lessening the percentage of calcium and doubling the basic to promote flowering.
Wks 5 - 8: 5 x 2.5 x 2
Wks 8 - end: 4 x 2 x 2
Been working well for me and very happy with the results. I started flushing the last 2 runs although I'm not tasting any difference I figure it can't hurt.

for the price it can not be beat...all i had to do was add some NPK RAW P to make me happy (9-61-0)...now i can make that stretch work and then make it all work !

in 5 gallons i use
10ml of silica and 10ml of calmagic to start
veg 10 5 10 (tomato...epsom calnit always in that order)
Late veg 10 5 5
early bloom 10 10 5
late bloom 10 10 2 to finish.

Grams per gallon..working so far that shit nets out to about 850 to 900 TDS in RO water.

That sounds awesome. I'm starting with tap and the mix drops my pH from 7 to 5.8-5.9 and over 900 TDS in late flower.

My first run was straight by the tomato book with half strength for the first 3 weeks then full to the end. Didn't work too bad. I've added silica, Tbl per 10 gallons as I get 6 digit temps in July-Sept but figure it can't hurt in the current cold.

Bang for the buck? I'm buying it in 50lb bags? Nothing else even comes close but I gotta admit I like those pictures on those bottles?

tap water here man BLOWS GOATS....500 tds today..hell that is not bad...it was 700 TDS daily in november...tasty..
For the record i dont drink the shit without a filter and i dot grow with the RO...But people do..i just understand water costs me 100 a month forever. And i grow enough weed to dry my tears.

I forgot i add 1/2 tsp of the Phos product (9-61-0) to anything blooming I find it helps with the bracket branching and bud stacking. A LOT.

Been a Megacrop user for years. I see several of you have switched to Jacks. Are you soil growers measuring every time you water or do you have concentrated solutions of Jacks you use?

Its super cake just 3 2 1 in grams per gallon takes 5 mins to weigh up, I did 50 gals worth of veg solution last night, 3 grams of part A per gal =150gs + 50 gs of Epsom added to 1500mls of distilled, then 100gs of part B into 1500mls in a seperate jug part A and Epsom can go into the same concentrate solution, part B gets kept seperate, 30mls of each per gallon of mixed solution at around 900ppms is how I roll it till flower, its just a diy liquid 2 part

Should add that 3 2 1 is the ratio and the measurement of grams i use this is about 85% strength they recommend 3.6 2.4 1.2 but at those levels I feel co2 is needed to make use of that high of an ec I've had awesome results at 700 to 900ppms with only bennies and humic/fulvic to aid in chelating any salt buildup
Ill give it a try one day...Thanks for the clarification ?

Excellent info on the Jacks program @Gweedo's Growroom . I’ve been playing around with it as well and I agree that at their recommended 3.6/2.4/1.2 co2 would definitely be recommended. The straight 3-2-1 is a sweet spot for me with no issues. Good call on raising temps to cure the cal/mag deficiency as well. ??
