SO cuting thru this thread__ whom has (breeder) the best ChemDog strain ? need to get my chemdog on __ Thankls ( going to start my hunt of tthe "best"chemdog)
Honestly if you want it and want it to be legit it's gonna be pretty hard to beat Chemdog himself... If the "mythology" is to be believed, the original bag had 13 seeds, and each one that wasn't male was named Chemdog, Chemdog '91, Chem D (There was apparently A, B, C, and 1, 2, 3,) which is how you get Chem 4 (Apparently each pheno got it's own name) and Chem's Sister. You'd be hard pressed to find better than the dude who named it. I'll be honest I don't have a clue how much a clone would cost, but those strains are all from the same bag. Personally I have an unknown Chem D I have that hermied out (I mean, technically it's all from bag seed anyway right?) and I clone it anyway because Chem D is REALLY high up on my list of favorites and is in fact the ONLY strain that actually is right under Blue Cheese. It's my number 2 basically.
Personally in terms if which is best, I'd have to smoke Chemdog (Without an additional number or letter) and then smoke the Chem D to see which one I truly like the most.... I haven't had the real deal Chemdog in a long time, and the only reason I've got Chem D is a clone hermied and I kept the beans anyway. I love it that much. But without ever having the original to run I'm not actually sure which is better in my opinion.
I also have never had Chem's Sister, or Chem 4 either. I imagine they'd be similar given that they're from the same sack, but I haven' simply seen them available before. I will say, Chem'91 I only had once and I'm pretty sure it was NOT grown to it's full potential.... Barely any smell or taste, not a great stone, but that was a dispensary so I'm blaming the grower there. It's literally the only time I've EVER had a Chem strain not instantly go on my favorites list.
