Anyone in/near jaypeak/killington Vermont and ski/snowboard? I may be planning a trip with or with out the family. I've been snowboarding since 1997. I can handle big mountains, heli-boarding, steep double black diamond runs. I've been all over out west (kirkwood, jackson hole, telluride, lake tahoe, and a few others), but I dont fly any longer due to the vast amount of issues on planes. I'll toss a bish out the plane if they F-up my flight!!

I'm a backcountry/glade type of boarder. I've traversed 3hrs from 1 peak to another just for 1 epic deep powder run. I was avalanche certified, but that's long expired.

Looking to go Feb 19-23. But I can alter those days a tad.

Changed it up a bit. The drive from Detroit to jay peak vt seems like a huge headache (possibly lake effect snow the entire 13hr drive). So I'll be heading to Snowshoe West Virginia Dec 20-26 (with the fam) if anyone is in or around that area. I'll be available to board 21, 22, 24th during this time.

I may go back Jan 20-26 to Snowshoe if the 1st trip seems worth it.

I would LOVE to board at jaypeak. I would be driving 90% of the time right by the lake. Which = lake effect snow. Buffalo got hammered last week with 2'. I don't wanna take a risk of any down driving time getting there.

Yeah, driving on 90 by Lake Erie ...I was doing it once and a blinding winter storm seemed to come out of nowhere. On top of that, fast semis were passing me in that blizzard - that was crazy .
