I love sports! Don't watch much hockey where I'm from though. Mostly nfl and nba. Cool concept the multi nation thing. Can't do that with nba or nfl. Literally no competition for those athletes.
yeah, i didn't realize it until yesterday that this tourney replaces the all star game. which was a joke: 17 to 12 or some absurd score.
and yes on the NBA/NFL all star concept: weak.

not sure they have a line combo better than Canada's mackinnon, mcdavid and crosby though. I think our goalie is the best of the 4: hellebuyck

I was about to throw in the towel on the St. Louis Blues, but since the 4 nations tourney they have been playing their best. 4 wins against better teams! If they win their next 10 games, then we can speak of playoff hockey.
NHL is my only sports following. The athletes in most other professional sports are a bunch of overpaid drama queens. I can create my own drama, I just haven't been overpaid in quite some time

I've been grinding my teeth over the Blues. They played just decently before the 4 nations tourney at around .500.
Since the 4 nations, they have been on a tear! We will get a chance at The Cup this year!!!

Binnington is a really good goalie.
My Flyers are already making plans for golf when the playoffs start. Again.
Never would have thought Gretzky's goal record would go down but Ovechin will easily surpass it.

I must say, growing up with the Blackhawks really beat me down. I really feel terrible for Connor Bedard. It breaks my heart to see such talent wasted

St Louis Blues just nailed 12 in a row. Got me a little nervous. Not much in the way of blowouts but, they keep finding ways to win! For a long while they kept finding ways to lose.
