Auto flowers in the fall

I planted these way too late in the outdoor season as I got busy with the Photos and some pollen chucking. the plants are Magnetic Midnight, Iranian x BB, and Grape Krinkle x Pineapple Express. The seeds were generously gifted to me by Aridbud (Afterthoughtautos). I am afraid these girls lost the race with 1st frost coming in 2-3 weeks. I am getting some nice fall colors and a little purpling though. I only had some small pots laying around but next time I will use 4-5 gallon nursery pots to get bigger plants.

Hey BOMBAY! I think you'll get them finished. The beauty of buckets is that you can move them . Cold frame would be great to finish them....or a simple hoop house.
If there's a threat of frost in the coming weeks, move them in garage, or covered patio. They are far enough along, a slight frost won't bother them.
You can buy a window storm door at Habitat 4 Humanity for an easy makeshift green house (effect) leaning 30-45 degrees, facing south. That'll quickly warm up the buckets in order to finish them.

Yeah, the 'season' where you are, (and the weird weather we experienced this year), you can germ and grow from mid-late April through August.

You have to be a multi- gasket watching both photoperiods and autos. That tree( photo) you have should yield nicely for you!!
