After catching my pb smallmouth yesterday on the Nikko winnow in lunar color, I’ve got to add it to my favorite lures list. I’ve pulled a few decent fish on these things this year and I do highly recommend them. Yesterday I was running it with a heavy vmc swim jig head. They were releasing water in anticipation of todays rain, so the river had a slight current I needed to cut. Worked like a charm.
Since I lopped off the top of the rod to my favorite abu Garcia bait caster setup, and couldn’t stop crying about it… my girl hooked me up for Christmas

They are an Alberta company that's been around forever and already have a bunch of cool designs. These two updates on a classic have been catching a lot of fish for me, especially through the ice, over the last couple seasons. One is UV reflectant

Grabbed some clenzoil grease and needle oiler to prep the reels for this year. This is something I’ve never done, but now that I have some nice gear, I want to take care of it. Sunny weather this coming week it’s getting me excited. 
I had the reel butter in my hand until I saw that Clenzoil is veteran owned. I always go for the veteran owned business when possible.

Same. I bought a cleaning/greasing/oiling kit last year and started learning a bit about taking care of baitcasters. That river sand gets into everything.
