There is no comparison in my opinion to de hps, they are the king of flower, but who the heck wants the heat, extra costs of electricity, bulb changes, not to mention needing 12ft plus ceilings and extra HVAC power in summer. No thanks

My 2 cents, def highest quality buds with 315 Phillips cmh master color 4200k all the way through. Just not the yield. But if I was growing for myself and a few friends that's what I would run. I use them now during fall winter in veg, along with lots of 5500 and 6k LEDs 4ft 50watt tubes, they by far crush the LEDs in veg.watt for watt. I switch to hlg 480watt blue spectrum LEDs in begining of may through September 15th. The worse lights in veg are full spectrum LEDs unless spectrum programmable.

I think i got it. Just my personal opinion:

It's all about leaf surface temp That's it. That's the factor, or, the variable. i think this is why HPS is so much better in some people's setups where other people slay with LED

Lot's of unanswered questions in that video. Possibly poor data in the studies he's quoting. Did they run the far red the whole time? What percent of the total spectrum?
