Sex check

Guess that one's gone today!

ETA: Done! Bye, bye mister, you're fired!
yup, I'd chop #3 as he's dropping pollen now, you can see one of the hanging balls opened to show its little flower/pollen dumper. The other two I would wait on just to be sure.

If you're not breeding, you might be better off with some feminized seed. That way you're using your time and space more wisely. You'll have to veg one plant quite a while to fill the 3x3, lot longer than you would with 4 plants. Or start double, if you want 4 plants start 8.

Like I said earlier, I am nervous about sexing, but I am determined to get better. I have an ample supply of regular seeds but few fem'd. Fem'd seeds are definitely easier, but I would like to move beyond that crutch.
BTW, I do have one other fem'd plant in the tent which I originally intended to move to the little 2x2, but it's not turning out to be exactly stellar, almost like it's stunted, so I think I'll just leave it in the corner along with the 1 girl it looks like I'll have out of these 4 and cut some clones from the girl to put in my Clone King in the little tent.

I assume all are males until I see hairs, like on your first pic. Once you have hairs you know you have a girl.

You have some good examples of claws, in #2 and #4, nice pics of early male flowers. Once you see balls hanging like in your #3 photo you know you have a male, if those hanging balls are starting to open to show their flower they're dropping pollen. You have what you need to learn right there in your photos. just observe them close and you'll get it.

Same here, dude.
Fems is pricey- specially considering how easy regs are to come by.

I am determined to get better.
You know the difference between a boy and a girl, it's just a matter of having more experience before you can identify them earlier and earlier.

But at any rate, it is not a big deal. Like picture #3, they will look very male before ever dumping any pollen.
Once they start dangling like that, you know they are dudes.

If u haven’t already, if u see pollen sacks semi open or open, mist em with water before u chop em down so u limit chances of pollinate , I also suggest using a bucket of water as ur throw away trash for if u see a opened pollen plant even if misted to really guratee that pollen gets sterilized /voided

That's a good idea. With the male I dealt with today, it was next to the tent door so I just lifted it out and took it out of the room. Across the house I took it out of the soil by the roots and bagged it for the trash.

Maybe I should take a spray bottle with clean/distilled water and mist the tent walls and even the other plants. Or is that not a good idea? I avoid getting the plants wet when watering, but I wouldn't think that misting the plant once would be a problem.

Key is if ur not killing the plant and these are the plants ur still growing always foliar even if water only at night/dark cycle (3hr min of no direct light) so those water droplets don’t burn ur plants . Yucca extract as wetting agent would def help have 100% coverage and have the droplets not fall of leafs.

That looks female , give it more time ( if it was me)

can u give a closer of the hair /node pic plz
Waiting is no problem. That first, obvious, male I cut that day when I started this thread. A second one I cut today when small pollen sacks started to appear. I'll get more pics of this one tomorrow. IIRC this one was #4 out of the original plants I posted.
