Who has that friend that thinks he's entitled to your stash because you didnt "pay hardly anything for it"? But is too lazy to start an op for himself. I don't sell anything I grow. I own a successful business and do this for my satisfaction and love for the plant. I love the deep knowledge and "farming". I also give it away to some of my less fortunate/sick/handicapped friends. But damn....dont try and make me feel guilty. Good grief.

This post made me lol for real....only because we all have that one "friend".
 
I hear you guys. I had to tell my brother years ago when he said it was free.

What free? I run 1000 W HPS plus 2 veg lights. Like 1.3 kWh 12 or 18 hours a day. Never mind the fact that I had to buy the equipment at some point. or the energy to run humidifier/dehumidifier and fans. Plus soil (I really need to switch to rols but I'm lazy). Plus nutrients. Plus water. Plus the cost of the genetics. and my time? What’s that worth? All of the mixing, testing, prepping, planting… then I have to keep her alive for 3+ months. Then I have to chop her down and go to trim jail. That I have to dry it. Then I have to wait patiently for six or eight weeks while it cures. It ain’t fuckin free that’s for sure.

Easy buddy....didnt mean to get you all worked up and need to smoke a fatty :LOL: You are on point! If they only took the time for themselves they'd know how ridiculous they sounded.

Perhaps I did get a little rant-y haha. Maybe I should mention how I was giving him bud and then found out he was selling it to a couple coworkers. He petted the cat backwards on that shit lol
 
This is why we don't have many friends lol. Give them a sample to try it out, "oh that's good, can I get another?" "Oh you have enough give me some" and when you don't it's crickets lmao. Nobody wants to learn how to grow their own even with 24/7 time on their hands smh. It's all good though, being a farmer really shows who your true friends are and we quickly found out that we have very few that live anywhere near us. It makes for a nice drama free life without these jokers always with their hands out anyway. We donate to people who deserve it, who need it and who appreciate it. The rest can eat a bag of..... well you know the jist if it lmao

Lazy ass people. They spend more time begging and looking for free shit than it would to just do it themselves.
 
Is that friend.... The same one that gives you tips after the fact. If you did this you would've got a bigger yield than that,
That friend... That wants to get free seeds from you because you F2 F3 a line with an expression in a pheno you like and well they didn't cost you anything to make them....
I sweat that friend..... Is related to those friends ... And those friends are the type that go hunting for outdoor crops because it's easier to rip and take than to learn and earn. That friends and those friends I refer to as Muppets.
May have got a tad off track. Haven't had my first green tea and honey to get my zen started off for the daygreat thread though. Had me in stitches with everyone's replies

This is the one that kills me, especially because for me it's usually a friend who's never grown anything but "has other friends that grow" or just read some shit on the internet. Same friends who give me construction tips when I've been doing it since I was a teenager and they have a desk job and never even built so much as a set of sawhorses. These friends don't ask me for bud though, because they also "don't smoke flower anymore, it's just not as clean as concentrates" lol

To the original question, I don't have that friend fortunately. All my friends that do smoke bud are so damn proud I can't even give them bud. They go to the dispensary and I'm like why the fuck are you buying that expensive ass jank when I offer you free bud all the time? I have to disguise it as a trade to make them feel better. Like yeah, I'd love a loaf of bread you baked, here have some weed.

That’s great. Who eats bread anymore, much better to concentrate that loaf into croutons, much cleaner than bread.
 
And on the subject of friends.

Well I have a great dog who never wants shit!!!

Then of course other growers who get it… we share and hang when possible. Far a few between true friends are, some would say most people go through life snd maybe get a real friend ounce or twice if at all. Someone who only wants what’s best for YOU without anything in return.
 
to each there own…theres leechere and than there’s people will respect and honor everything u give em. I love letting others try eat my over access of veggies and food and let people smoke new pheno’s.
but for the factor of someone I can tell doesn’t care about cannabis or feels like they if they hangout . I must smoke em out or give em free weed? I’m good on leecher buddies

sucks when you try to be giving to people and than the result is they want to take advantage and destroy a good thing :(
