I saw the white head and breast and called it an eagle .
Yeah, but, holding that station until the Eagle got back ,,,
So gall-dang patriotic

Fellow feather collector here.
I have prize Orange'y Flicker feather
Occupies more space in my heart, than it does in the bin.
Also I have found a huge flight feather, all black, I think it may be from a turkey vulture
Northern Flicker is, for my money, the most beautiful bird.
They absolutely rule if they want to go to the bird feeder........no challenges. We have a few here, the one main character is named "chuckles",,, and the power! That bill must be carbide tipped.
Got all those but the warblers here............but red and yellow finches are plentiful, I've got a couple of flycatchers too.Few more daily visitors here in GA:
This is fun - I'mma break out the old Kodak Carousel and make everyone watch!! 🤣 🤣 🤣

When I moved here, I spent a few years thinking the pine warblers were adolescent, female or wintering goldfinches.Got all those but the warblers here............but red and yellow finches are plentiful, I've got a couple of flycatchers too.
The female cardinal is one of my faves.......a very beautiful bird!
Not to be that guy, and as you said the picture is a bit fuzzy... but I think that may be an osprey and not an eagle. Bald eagles have white tails and no dark stripe on the face
Really cool video catching him hovering like that! Definitely an osprey ... trying to contribute to the pH fishing thread lol@Gentlemancorpse - I shot this cool video of it hovering above the pond looking for food, and I do believe it is evidence of it being an osprey
