I generally try any German Beer I can find honestly, as it's usually amazing :) Ever try Warsteiner ?
i'm the same way. anything German or Belgian is usually really good.

@Psychobilly have you tried this one? It's pretty heavy up front but paired with BBQ it it's pretty damn good IMO. After moving many years ago I couldn't find it. Had a local shop order it for me they said when the case arrived their back room smelled like a campfire lol!

been awhile since i've had or even seen that one.

that's the rauchbier, right ? (smoke) definitely an acquired taste for most. and not one that you're gonna crush 6 while watching a game,etc. lol

Yes sir. There are a couple styles but the Marzen is my favorite. Definitely an acquired taste. Not a session beer for sure. But a pint with some BBQ is great! I also use it when making chili. If ya just crack a bottle to drink most people are like wtf is this hahaha. Pairing with some good smokey BBQ is the key.
