About to try and launch a small scale organic heirloom type mini farm and seed co well be specializing in rare but prolific heirloom veggies, peppers, and onions, I'm tired of working for Wally mart and the farm life has been calling my name??? I blame the herb lol growing as shown me how much I enjoy growing ✌✌
This is awesome! Make sure to post ?I'd love to buy some

Reading that Jadam organic farming book really cemented it in for me, was an eye opener for sure, I stay on 10 acres with pretty decent clay based soil, and an oak/pecan forest in and all around my yard, so giving it a shot was a no brainerd lol gonna start with a 20x14x10.5 hoop style greenhouse with rollup sides, and a few ideas to extend the season ?? planning on running a few raised beds in and around the greenhouse and have 3 50x30 raised beds we worked previously a few years back, I'll be working them hard with some cover crops and my new found knowledge, I'll probably start another journal to chronicle the journey or not lol well see Screenshot_20210211-103203_Gmail.jpg Screenshot_20210211-103215_Gmail.jpg Screenshot_20210208-185809_Chrome.jpg
This should be enough to get started, we've grown all but 2 of the veggies before and they did pretty well, I'm gonna keep notes on them this time that way the seeds well offer will only be the hardiest of the lots, going to be combing this order with what we have saved over the years, the wife is doing all the peppers, tomatoes and onions and I've got everything else, not planning on having anything ready to go until we have run all of them at least once possibly twice for selection.
Funny how much this all is coinciding with the "other" grow ??????

So the purple plemon and the PCK lady got the chop on thursday was day 63 if I kept correct track, both were getting hints of amber in all the right spots for me, i left the seeded branches on to go a few days more on 18-6 and the other plemon is most likely gonna get the chop today or monday, im absolutely fucking excited all three ladies got a tester seed plucked today and the results were most definitely satisfactory so far, nice stripes, dark, mature looking seeds all over them biatches. Who remembers their first intentional beans??? It's like waiting for Santa as a dam 5 year old ??? I plan to grow some of the super hot peppers for friends this spring and had one ask me about the lemon cukes. I had never heard of them until he said something and now I see it in your list! I may have to find some seeds of it to grow. I didn’t plan on growing veggie plants to sell, but I’ve had friends ask me, so I may have just stumbled upon a little side hustle that stems from my side hustle ?

They are great @Z71banshee if you get em early and slice em they taste like a regular cuke with a drop or 2 of fresh lemon squeezed on it, and I'd say 100% go for it, I started the ball rolling on my end had been pondering about it for a long time and I can't find any real negatives to green thumbing it for extra cash I honestly just like growing stuff ???✌✌ first attempt at an honest business ?? Definitely planning on utilizing some of the love new small businesses get to try and expand a tad to ensure a shot at breaking even the first year, I'm in a good spot for it small town about 1100 people and the nearest fresh produce is 20 miles in either direction, thinking the local farmers market and a possible one day a week stand at the spot to start, gonna hit up the local restaurants as well they dont have much selection either, brainstorming all this has got me all kinds of excited, the light at the end of the shitty job tunnel is getting closer ???

I had never thought about selling veggie plants until my buddy said something, then the light bulb turned on! Since I will be opening up a grow store soon, me and the girlfriend have already talked about putting up a little greenhouse at the store. I also plan on growing a lot of sweet corn and pumpkins at home to sell in the fall. Our store is in a somewhat “hipster” town right on the main road, so fresh veggies and pumpkins should be a huge hit. Because we have the word ‘hydroponics’ in our name, these types of products ease the tensions with banks who still lean on the stigma of growing.

I have been meaning to mention, my nickname in the drywall world is Gweedo! People have been calling me that for the better part of 15 years now.

I got mine from a horrible mis pronunciation of the spelled word huero dude spelled it with a g and it fuckin stuck lol
Lol, I looked up huero. It looks like you may have had a similar experience to a friend of mine who was a blue-eyed, blond-haired, full-blood Cree dude. All his aunts called him moniyasis, which means "little white boy",even as an adult, and all us white bastards pronounced it as "moony-ass". He was a good dude who got shit from all sides. :ROFLMAO:

Well it would appear that some fuckery has occured or I'm just a dumbass, a while back I had mentioned starting up titan genetics as my attempt at bettering the plant, and it would seem the universe has thrown me a curve ball as the weed gods would have it I won't be doing that as someone 40 miles from me just grabbed the ig handle and a website with the name ??? and all in the last 2 weeks, kinda bummed about it but what ya gonna do lol .
