100 Days of Growth

can I use a few of those to show off with here?
Absolutely, glad to have you @Agreenpassion

Couple inches of snow last night and a couple more tonight so its a joy seeing all of the warmer climate gardens.

Hopefully my columbines survive these temp swings, it gets dicey in these containers, but looks like at least a few will make it.

With any luck I'll have some cuts of marshmellow next april1st!

day#5
Over here we see a little white root tail growing out of the cloning plug. This one is going to be spectre run #3 and might be used in a breeding project. Lets also catch up on a phenohunter alumni bred alien apple breath being tested by the amazon special set up. You can see this plant is looking super healthy and has tight nodal spacing. I contemplate toping for a more bushy structure and more chances to take cuts. Plenty of time to decide on that. 1000017639.jpg

Queueing up some reg seeds. Shouldn't be but I'll figure it out haha. This is what happens when I'm on the forums, get chatting about strains and then pop seeds.

To clarify, we can enter stuff at any growth stage right? Doesn't have to just be started for this?

Either way I'm impulsively started these seeds haha. I should probably start some peppers if I'm going to do that.... hmm. Stay tuned

Some of these are looking rough. My theory, when I veg slow they are happy and get used to the new soil slowly, and the soil composts abit (less hot). When vegged quick, this happens. Also the cause might be switching them to 10x more intense light. Or a combo of soil and light.
Either way, some are showing sex and one male Ciskei started to full on flower.

Not looking like these will be the semi autos I hoped for, maybe just strait autos. If they are flowering under 24 hrs light that's my theory anyways.

Any stage yes and does not need to be started just for the comp.

It's not the plants you are entering, it is the story you tell us while growing.

Let's say someone chooses to run some testers during the comp. Did they provide the kind of info a breeder would find useful? Did they execute the role of a tester or just mail it in?

Or someone is hunting a personal stash. Do they communicate how and why the features they are looking for are important? Do they make it feel like you're in on the hunt?

Or do they just have a particular style of ducumentation? Just the facts or come, take a walk with me...?

At the end of the comp voting will be open to the membership just like POTM.

These babies are coming along nicely...Still nothing but water going into the medium but I gave them a rainstorm of .... Per gallon....5 ml of Calmag..pinch of Wallace soluble kelp and a pinch of Wallace fulvic acid...Few drips of molasses...IMG_20250405_161304.jpgIMG_20250405_161257.jpgIMG_20250405_161251.jpg

Today was one of my least favorite tasks, pot washing.
20250406_122648.jpg

These were held to a max temp of 65F for a couple weeks while the remaining flower from my previous run dried. Since I was targeting about 50F in the drying area, the light was turned down to help with that (shared space).

Couple chucks planned for these, first is to bx the SourBubble I selected from last round provided the pollen is still viable and second is to cross up Afgaan90 and Nepali Highland. Pretty sure the NH I have is a boy, if not I have 2 unsexed Afgaan90 in addition to the two females I took cuts of. There's also a female CnC f3 and Chem91 x SourBubble in there.

Just got the shed flipped to 12/12 on April 1, trying a new to me breeder in West CO Seed Co. They were freebies from the BAS Cannibis Cup - 3x Extraterpestrial (Alien OG x Lucky Charms). Also a C99 from @Amarok (there's another in the tent too) and 3x Funeral Cookies.

Day 6 lets check out the veg/auto 2x2
Day 16 (ish sprouted half day apart) since they have sprouted out of the soil. We have r
Rinse reserve auto regs with 2 Pewas in the sand bucket. This varietal is known to carry funky leaf morphology with some strains giving off a palm tree like leaf appearance when budded. I can see the odd leaf morphology immediately.
In the auto dog watering bowl that has been converted into an auto waterer with fabric pot. We have Rinse Reserve Auto regs of Strawberry Safari x Ol chem Haze. The one towards the right of the tent got a little leggy and needed support. Special appearance is a bean of Crom bred by Cat dad out of the Unseen University discord. It has a little tail out of the seed but I dont consider it sprouted yet and I am not sure it will be able to complete a life cycle in the shovel. That is for a bonsai grow along so I might pop another in reserve as a back up plant with an intention to do a small clone in the shovel if we have a germinatipn issue or something down the line.

I definitely have to mention the dogautopot waterer again. For a simple set up under 25 i havent had to water at all besides initial germination and ocassional cal mag and lab doses. It is very set and forget.

Started these goofers with a splash of aquarium water. I never win helmet wars, so I just let them marinade for three or four days.

%100 on the Rafter stock.
20250407_001235.jpg

Got some pond scum forming, so I am bailing out none too soon.
20250407_003420.jpg

All jumped out, but two Genesis O.G., cracked them manually, but they may not come up.

Looking at 12 autos, today.
20250407_004834.jpg

12 seemed a little formal to me, so I sprouted one of these, for an even 1320250312_153139~2_(1).jpg

This spring my indoor gardening practices are putting the beat down on me.
Got 2 big punches to the head, all my Santero bean cracking attemts have fails me for over 2 weeks now, so RIP, and I'm moving forward.
Second big punch.
Been battling with making a 18 pound batch of Blue LAB's, wheat germ bokashi, for a month now.

I now have it spread out on 2- 2' x 4' x 4" aqua trays.
It was in my pole building, in 1 tray, HUGE FAIL!!
To thick of a mass to dry out.

BUT I had to be mixing up medium, (where I'd be drying bokashi at) then up potting around 25 plants or so, from 1 g pots to 3 g pots.
I got the 5 SuperSilverSourNevils all but the runty of that lot, and the 4 Australian Outbacks, got up potted, a couple other pants as well, when I ran out of pre mixed medium.

I had a stretch where I lost all my seedling. Just kept on dying. All you can do is move on!

Are the Conoiseur Genetics beans Super Silver Sour Thai Nevils? Ssstn. Did you order direct or from GLG when they started carrying them?
I've ran a few of em, goofy plants. Huge variation. My fave hands down was the pearl pheno, I'd love to find it again, lemon lime haze profile, clean up high. Had one that was Sour dom too, but finicky and mutant like.
This run I have 5 or so from seed, might be a different batch of seeds, most are Haze leaning from what I can tell.

Edit: just checked smells on the 5. All over the place. One Haze, one citrus Haze (lemlime), one Sour, and a couple TBD. I pollinated all of em with the most sativa growth type of Ssstn15 (my chuck).

OJD has some legit gear but he is somewhat unpleasant to deal with, imho.

Day 7 or day one for a lot of these sprouts. Cayennes takimg the lead with the Jalapeños following. Waiting to see the wiriwiri peppers pop out. @Bodean beans of the apple cider x koffee and donuts is popping out. It looks like the soil might be a bit more moist than intended so hoping the seedling goes through well. The crom has a root tail but the soil dries out quick and With that being for a grow along, I might have to have a back up crom.

Hey LG/:
Yes I did get these from GLG. I had followed a thread at Bean Basement, last year, growing out the Australian Outbacks, and the SSSTN.
The guy said exactly what you stated, about the SSSTN. He did have one plant that to me was something I'd like.
He was wild for the Australian Outbacks!
OJD offered decent price for the pair, in special, he posted up so I jumped on it.
I loved his Australian Dead Heads, I grew out 5 years ago or so!!
It was as close to the killer high from Jamaican buds I smoked in Jamaica in 1980 or so.
Just very upbeat, while stoned to the bone!

Ok. Flipped to 18 hrs, only been a day or two at 18hrs...
Ciskei and Royal-V.
Looks like auto flowers to me, at least some. If there are any that don't autoflower, I'll separate them into a different tent and do a separate seed run. The ones that do, I'll select a male (meowbe one that is later to start flowering) and do an auto run.

Going to use Ciskei for males. The Royal-V was sort of bland flavors but all thc-v I've ran have that same terp profile. Not bad but nothing exciting. However since they all have had it in common it makes me think it's the nature of thc-v originally.

Health wise lowers are all sorts of meowed up. Some burnt tips too but they are coming around. Hopefully they continue to stretch and grow, at least abit.

Setup in this tent is 4 100w 3070 cob fixtures plus a 150 w diode in the middle (diode light is off). But I love moving things around and all the other tents should be open by the beginning of May at the latest.

Oh and have 2x 4" exhausts with carbon filters pushing air through, one 4" intake.

Having 26 plants is driving me nuts. I'm gonna go in and kill one right meow to make it an even 25 haha. 400w/25p=16w/plant. 400w/16sqft= 25w/sqft.

I been super busy this last week so I’m a couple days behind.. anyhow, I set up the 2x4 and put some seeds in a paper towel this morning.

I’ll be running my own seeds which are
royal highness (Humboldt seed co)
x
love f2 pollen (lit farms)

looks like 15 of em. I’ve never germinated these before so I figure why not throw some extras on there, see what happens. Not sure if I’ll keep any of the males, I have about 100 seeds left so i can always come back again

IMG_2337.jpeg

Also gonna be running these pink gammanade autos outside from humminbird hills
