Put yellow traps out yesterday and whatcha know …Fungus gnats on traps, sop begins!
also I purchased online (2) 50 million nematodes so I can drench twice , 25k Stratiolaelaps scimitus Womersley, Hypoaspis (Stratiolaelaps scimitus Womersley 25k & 1000 rove beetles , when I drench the nematodes I’ll also apply some liquid BTI in there as A extra mode of attack.
Yes I overdid it but notill and organics with fungus gnats doing a good reduction and this IPM is key. I also put 1-2 yellow traps on each pot outdoors .
This isn’t nothing new and FG is always wanting to party with my grow style, well enjoy like always the predators hehe 😜

shipping is if not biggest raper on the price for this IPM so I overdo it, Better Than under doing it imo

Today did more corn…1 large tray + normal tray (3) corn husked,cooker and “decobbed” and thrown into freezer like rest. Kept 6 cooked uncobbed and put em in fridge for a side for dinner … really need to get more done (endless lol)
pro is I got enough corn in freezer for 6months-1 year all organic and had multi weeks of fresh , I also harvested 2 watermelons and man that’s. Joy to eat on

talked to evergreen today about my IPM purchase for FG, well they agreed on my purchases and didn’t suggest anything else, just double checking hehe 😜
man that’s quite the task, jungle in there and man being on a ladder to spray em 360 degree and full coverage is def a challenge…… if it wasn’t for the passion and love for this plant no way you would see my ass doing this shit lol

Be careful with the sticky cards outside -- they can catch birds.
Well it doesn't really catch them, but they can't fly with a sticky card attached to a wing.
I had to peel a small card off a chickadee and it was a very stressful event. It flew off so hopefully no worse for wear.
Alligator clamps work better than those yellow dealios.
I cut the big yellow cards into six pieces so each one has a non-sticky edge, which makes them easier to peel & handle.
There's a post in the grow hacks thread somewhere...
Too much sun and need to deleaf, its everytime i go next to her i wanna check her out and u can smell her some ft away, that gasssy jet fuel funk
