I have been on the CBD quest for a few years now. I grow a few every year. It is really not as simple as finding a high CBD strain since the phenos will vary widely. I have come to the conclusion that the only sure bet is to buy a verified clone.
For me the THC/CBD balance, not the pure CBD, is what works best, especially in edibles & salves. Even my Mom agreed to that with the salves.
The trouble is knowing what you have without lab testing.
@Schwaggy P shared some seeds of Green Crack CBD/Jabbaβs Stash (I have been calling it Jabbaβs Cure) with me that I grew out last year, I have one pheno that I really like & reach for it often, I had it all ready to send out for lab testing when this pandemic started & it never got done. I wanted to understand the high for my own assessments since I am not set up for a mother plant anyway. Need to figure out how to identify it better.
I have come close to buying so-called verified high CBD clones a couple times but have not identified a source I trust yet. Still looking.
In the meantime I buy pure CBD isolate to add to my salves & edibles.
