Skunky Brewster x Schwaggys Skunk #3
Keeper
This lady is just all around a fantastic plant. was super easy to grow, looked pretty the whole time, was frosty, sticky, stinky, had some decently good support on her own, and finished up in about 9 weeks flat, although I took it to 10 just cause.
The nose of this jar is an all around, skunky, gassy smell. There are notes of sweet skunk, some notes of dank basement skunk, some lighter hints of oil rag and gasoline, and a faint note of something kushy. That bit of kushiness really helps to push out all the different tones of skunk as well. I dont think you could make the claim that this is the roadkill skunk, but damned if you dont get some noticable skunk smells from this jar. It has some pretty skunky, dank/wet basement notes on the exhale as well, definetly fills the room with a skunkier smell than not. So yeah, hits of sweet and straight up skunk/dankness, then some sharp gasoline blended with oil rags, not quite a mixed gas situation, definetly heavy on that sort of chromey metal smelling notes of an oily rag. It all works together in a wonderful way.
Flavors are a bit switched around from the nose, with the heavy taste being a sort of greasy shop rag, chemmy and bright with some skunky flavors that quickly follow that up. Big flavors on the inhale, big flavors on the exhale.
This plants smoke is purely top notch. I am fuckin lit, I can feel it all in my head and face and like a blanket around me, the more I smoke. But, it doesnt really give you couchlock either, and almost has sativa like energy to it, with a super heavy stone feeling, thats not actually debilitating. I think this is some pretty perfect day starter for the seasoned smoker that wants to chill, feel stoned as all hell, but be able to talk, function, be creative, and get shit done. I've smoked a few bowls of it so far over the course of the day, and i'm just getting ready to settle in for a movie and a nap. So, I guess the takeaway here is a bowl or two will really be a great moring booster, any more than that and you are getting into heavy lazy territory.
