So, Diamond Earring was just another chuck I did from two other chucks of mine, but I found that I really liked the results in there. The ladies I brought into flower all had a sort of sweet chemmy smell to them, more on the chem end of things, the Khem Kardashian brought that part on. The Dad, Apollo Blues, was a pretty powerful and strong stud. I chose the dad from that as the most hearty, strong branched male from the Delta Blues pack from Dominion, and used that to hit my Apollo XX, from as you correctly assessed, Bros Grimm. The Apollo XX was got because they were sold out of the regs when I made it to thier booth eventually. So, I used that pack to hunt what I had found before in a pack of F4's that I think were Useful or Bodhi freebies. I found what I thought was pretty dang close to the one I originally liked. It had that famous odor of crushed pineapple and cheeto's, and the buds were super duper resinous and a little fluffy but not airy.
That Apollo Blues male that I used to make this was visually a nice 50/50 between each parent, a taller plant than the Delta BLues would of gotten, with gorilla strength branching compared to the Apollo XX lady and all the other ones observed from those packs.
That said, and without going back into my notes, what I do clearly remember is that the Diamond Earring started off smelling that same kinda sweet chem going into drying/the jars, but came out with this WILD french vanilla smell. Like, crack the jar and it smells like nothing except vanilla coffee creamer, it was delicious. Those jars got emptied QUICK. She had some good potency as well from the chem side and Delta Blue's additions. Somehow hashy grape, sweet chem, and cheesy tropical funk all come together to make French Vanilla Coffeemate (but better lol) smell. Moonijuana shares the same dad and grows similair as well. Nugs are dense, tight, heavy, and there isnt much larf near the bottom, pretty much all is smokable nug.

Oh yeah that said, I'd never go back and revisit or grow any of the new Bros Grimm gear. and I'm aware my pack falls in that category. I just got lucky in mine, but I know they're not using any original parents they had, they're all new finds.
To y'all: I had to take a little internet break, just needed to get my ass in the gym, talk to a therapist, and just fix my shit. well, work on fixing m shit. Life is a strange beast. So much we have no control over, yet so much we do.
I was honestly suprised to pop back and see my thread still active, so thank you all for the love and support during my absence, it was quite a beautiful thing to log back into. Yes, the rumors are true, I took Last qualifying place in the Z labs cup with Hairy legs. I gotta get off my ass and package up the Midsicle x TK beans and give them out as freebies with the Hairy Leg (TK x midsicle). Or just like, giving them out. I had grown them out to about 6 weeks before I lost it all (mental health reasons not cause of the plants) but they were all looking beautiful! like hairy legs but a little bit more TK influence in them. The TKs1's were looking super dope too, a couple that looked a lot like mom and a couple that could of possibly been better.
I've popped a lot of new stuff lately (for me) and I'm pretty excited with this quick lil change in direction. I got a little burnt out just running all of my own gear testing and testing, so I'm doing some of that, but mostly just growing out shit people have made and given to me. I'd like to be working my projects in that direction, that the community is more involved and I with the community.
