Well said. I know I can look up a lot of this stuff but I prefer asking someone who has used both.
I've always treated them the same. Ph 5.6 to 6. However I never bought promix. Just got the plain peat. Limed it and add alot of perlite. Coco absorbs much easier. If the peat gets the least bit dry it goes hydrophobic. It may absorb more but the coco absorbs better if that makes sense. I've a grow with all coco, 2 half and half and 1 all peat. All were fed and treated the same and all performed well!

I agree they are dif in how they hold water . I got plain pear a while back and it was crazy low so I had to adjust . Kinda why I went back to promix , cause it's already buffered . Tell u what tho neither substrate likes drying out too much . I am now keeping the medium covered w a couple dif things and it help keep everything porous

Me and wifey smoked some grape pupil last nite . Wow what a cultivar! Intense high and the most unique terps . Spicy almost perfume taste and smell . Def a fan of pupil funk . She was taken a back by the pile of black bud I was rolling and I assured her it was normal ? View attachment 41057
I had ground some up one night and left the extra in the rolling tray... got a pic from my girl while I was at work like wtf is this in the weed tray lol.... I'm a big fan too... great unique taste and a powerful cerebral stone... just wish mine had filled in better
