Ummm, so when do these potentially drop? This sounds all good.
@GthaEnigma all the testers I have ran have had some nice progeny. I'm sure this will be the same and the drop will follow once we all confirm. ?
?
Yes, once we confirm its worthy of release. It will drop.

Some of the phenos from the Alpha Dog were a little picky and threw and couple anthers in the last week. The male used for these crosses was stress tested and held his own in all conditions. Classic still sold some Alpha Dog on Firetax a while back. Everyone who grew them out said it was well worth the search.

The Romulan was selected from Romulan Joe's Romulan seed stock that Classic held. This plant was a bit small. Texasjack ran her out for smoke. Said shes good, but not like he remembers. By that time I had the seed project almost finished. Well see how they match up right here...thank you for doing your thing brother @Budwulf.

There were a handful of cultivars that got down with that Alpha Dog male.

There are still some other testers available if anyone wants to play.

Also, the label Generic Seeds will be absorbed by Genus Seed Co. Its still me. But there is another brother helping with the trip. So the new labeling will read Genus Seed Co. So far the only place to get this stuff is at Great Lakes Genetics.

All the next drops will be under the new label Genus Seed Co. Some freebies are still labeled Generic Seeds.

There is a project in the mist of Romulan x Korean Skunk for f2, a different Romulan was used that Classic selected. A bunch of other cultivars are in getting pollinated as well. It's about 7-8 weeks in at the moment. Those testers will be listed when ready.

Be well,
Kind

How's that Alpha Dog on the nose?
I dont have the male anymore. But from what I remember it was similar the the description below rancid, hash on the fingers with a subtle skunk in the air when brushing past him.

The seeds were made in the PNW under full weather last season. I dont remember getting any lemon from him.

TJ is looking to see if he has some photos.

I made a mistake. I miss interpreted the abbreviated labeling. Classics Alpha Dog is...Chem Dog 91 x Reservoir Seeds Alpha Diesel.

Alpha Diesel »»» East Coast Sour Diesel clone x Sour Diesel IBL.

"Reservoir Seeds' Alpha Diesel Description
Logo Reservoir Seeds Flowering Time: 75-90 days
Stature: many tops
Yield: decent
Odor: hashy lemony skunky and rancid all in one
Taste: hashy lemony smooth (full flavor)
Buzz: great heady buzz introspective but very relaxing at the same time

Grow Info: hearty vigorous growing plant. starts slow and gains momentum later on. very sensitive to stress will throw a nanner if stressed. Will stretch to 3x in flower. Starts tric production early. and never stops. very frosty. All in all a great strain. found 2 differernt phenos a stretchier more sativa foxtail pheno and a denser more indica pheno..... both have that great flavor but its stronger in the sativa pheno."

Oh man that sounds good! I do enjoy the "strangeness" of smells that plants are capable of producing, and I'm a HUGE fan of literally any Chem cross; Most people here wouldn't be surprised to see me saying that any Chem or Cheese cross makes me almost drool LOL. I've not ever had a Chem OR Cheese cross that I didn't love. For some reason those two families are most of my top all time favorites list haha.

Do you still work with these strains? The pungent nature of what you're describing sounds wonderful!

There are some other crosses in the vault with the Alpha Dog.

Right now I'm making f2s of the Romulan x Korean Skunk. There are some Guava Chem x Lime Skunk ladies, RKS x Deep Chunk x Lime Skunk ladies and some old BC G13 ladies in with those males. Also have some of the more modern one off cuts....GMO, Wedding Cake, Gary Payton and a couple others.

There is a male and female here from Classic's Killer Chem....Chem Dog x Vic's Killer Queen (G13 x C99). They are really stinky in veg. Those will make f2s and all the select cultivars from this round will go in with them. Along with the modern cuts.

I'd love to play, but no room at the inn ?. Sure sounds good though! I'll just watch for now I guess. Good luck...

I popped everyone in my normal soil mix and it caused major issues. Everyone was affected from seedling stage on. Lesson learned, I will be germinating in a very basic mix.

Day 27ish for everyone, I ended up with 3 females. As you can see they were stunted and burned as a result of the mix they were germinated in.
None have thrown any sexual instability which is awesome. The last pictured plant has a nice Lime-esque smell going on.
