I'd heard of Hokkaido hemp-apparently they have excellent THC varieties as well. This my first time smoking anything of Japanese in origin and wasn't sure what to expect-
-I smoked two small bowls after a cup of coffee this morning as soon as I got up. Very intense "headband" effect as soon as you take the 2nd or 3rd rip- pressure behind your eye sockets and temple.
-Very energetic effects, many folks may not like the initial effects due to it feeling "racy" at times (I love rollercoaster ride sativas) I did not experience any anxiety, just pleasurable transition from through to thought.
-Very similar to Haze, it feels wonderful but concentration is more difficult than with other heirloom strains.
-Pleasurable feeling in my stomach, no acid burn this morning from the nicotine+coffee
-The taste can be described as herbally with a slight lime taste. Not complex by any means. The second you taste it you know it's going to be a heavy hitting sativa.
-The bud was grown by Alternative Solutions, a med grower in DC. They have been doing phenohunts all over the world & this was one they brought back. With the holiday discount I got (2) 1/8s for $90 including taxes.
