I still struggle sometimes in diagnosing nutrient issues. However, I have had great success when I've used a nutrient rich organic mix already at it's proper pH. I still use salts based nutes but rather sparingly. It's been my experience that when things are set up correctly from the beginning, there are far fewer issues. I like to call my grow method the "KISS" approach.
