That is who I am referring to. I went ahead and bought a couple 4 pks of fems from him. Mainly because I wanted to grow Durban Poison and I came across somewhere mentioning he has a great strain feminized. Time will tell. I will update when I recieve my seeds and after germination.
Are those naners?I will give a smoke report after the cure. DP is coming down this weekend. 11 weeks. Im seeing a lot of amber. At least 20%. View attachment 42926
Your eyes aren't that bad old man haha; that flower is covered in stamens and if you zoom in, you can even see pollen granules in the stamens on the right, midway up the flower. The flower itself reminds me of some bag seed that I grew from a friend last year. All of them turned out to be autoflowers and one was just viny stems full of bracts with no flower structure whatsoever. It was some of the oddest shit I have witnessed in all of my years growing this plant. Positive vibes...Are those naners?
Yeah that's the one that hermied on me. Insult to injury hahahaAre those naners?
It smells pretty good and is sticky. The foxtail calyx budzzz are covered in sticky trichomes. It reminds me of the stuff I smoked in the early 80's. Honestly can't wait for the full cure. Other than the fact I wanted Durban poison, which I doubt this is unless it is a lost hidden trait that came through, I think it was cool to grow such an anomaly. I got some free seeds out of it lmaooooo. I will save each cross and try them out some day. He is an alright guy. I have probably 10 different strains from him. I just don't trust them now lol. It's not intentional I just didn't like the lack of response to "Are you sure this is Durban?" Could have said You wanna try a replacement pack or something? Instead I got don't know what to tell you lolNot sure if this will be helpful to anyone or not... Sorry if not... But thought I'd chime in.
I bought seeds from this guy about 10 years ago when I first started growing... Timeline is right, as his site says "Happy 10 year anniversary for New420Guy" He's a local here in Sacramento..at least he was, not sure where he's at now. He had some interesting stuff and was selling them for $1/bean at the time. OG kush, SFV OG, Blackberry Kush, and a couple others. I bought 50 seeds and honestly never got any to actually germ for me.
Not trying to talk down on him, he was nice and seemed as an honest standup guy. Could have been cause I was such a rookie at the time, but I don't think I ever got any grown out. I did already have a couple grows under my belt before buying from him so I knew how to germinate. I do remember trying with his seeds on multiple occasions but it just never happened for me so I pushed his stuff to the side and kept ordering from over the pond as I was before. Still have most of them in my vault and look at them from time to time and have thought about giving them another try now that I at least kinda know what I'm doing, but I've got so much other stuff to dig into that I just never got around to the retry. Maybe one day, but I won't hold my breath. I'm sure I was at least of partial blame. If it were that they were bunk seeds, I'm sure he's gotten better after 10 years of seed making.
Again, not trashing, just thought I'd share my personal experience 🤙
He's in Northern Nevada now..Oh boy..Lucky us..Not sure if this will be helpful to anyone or not... Sorry if not... But thought I'd chime in.

Yeah I am glad it worked out like that. I hate negativity and felt bad for thinking he was shady lolThat was a very cool gesture him taking care of you like that! Very awkward bud structure on that thing. Looks like trim hell😂
I feel ya...I hate negativity and bad thoughts, but at the same time, shady (people/things) is always lurking, so can't be too careful...Yeah I am glad it worked out like that. I hate negativity and felt bad for thinking he was shady lol
Very strange bud structure indeed but I have seen in looking up 100% landrace sativa. Picture on GrowWeedEasy looks just like it. My buddy said can't always go by looks. Smells pretty good. Smelled better as I was trimming though.
