I've got the Beast not from the East. Lmfao.
Pic from Friday. She's getting quite unruly with me. Her sidearms are just as tall as her main is, and she did it all on her own. She's still untopped, no fim, just some undercarriage clean up is all I've done to her. Really liking how she's growing for me. 20200814_165938.jpg
And one from Saturday.
See the massive difference? ???
Don't be scared folks, I can still fuck her off, I do that from time to time. Lmfao.

And a group shot with her sisters in view.
20200814_170011.jpg
A bit diff angle of them, too deep to get in there for much anymore besides watering. Which they want daily now. ??? 20 gals a day is alot to haul to the garage. Lol

My Prayer Pupil isn't impressing me yet. Still not stacking very well and those damn curled pupil leaves drive me nuts. Still time but...

Have you given her any mag doses lately?
I've seen that curl on a plant of mine, looking like too much N, and it was from not enough magnesium in comparison to the amount of N she had available.
Dosed her with some Epsom and the N leaf curl left the building.
Just my two cents. Lol.

Youre probably right and normally I'd take that course too but the curled leaf is a trait from the Pupil supposedly. Mass Medical guy shows it alot on IG. Star Pupil does it bad. Mine both did. Leaves have looked like that almost since jump so I dont know. If not and its finicky then hurry up, finish and be gone I say. Feeding them Dyna Gro by the book in roots organic.

When your plant did that did the leaves seem thick? Thats the one difference between this pig and the Star Pupil. These leaves seem thick and leathery. Not brittle but stiff and thick feeling if that makes sense.

As far as I remember they didn't feel much different from typical. But yeah, I know what you mean. I've got a couple plants that have that thickish leaf, but it seems to be a trait of the plant as it's all of the strain, and they're healthy as heck. Lol

In Bloom
Just some quick updates... Think we're going into week five of flower this week, but I'd have to look at the journal to confirm. I can't remember anything these days. Moving along either way. She's a thirsty bitch, that's for sure. Hoping she'll stack more over the next few weeks.

Tilts at Tables
Golly, this is one of my favourite threads.

I have a question for you.

Do you deserve to win this competition ?
The criteria is malleable.
Could it be you ?
You will need to state your case, in order to get my vote.

I had a few goals going in. I few things I wanted to accomplish. Some have been attained, some are debatable.

This is pHenohunters - right ?

I dropped every last 'identifies as' Tangie in hopes of finding that elusive chicken dinner.
The Fates, they blessed me with a selection. The Blood Orange tempted me with her deep reptilian foliage, but my heart was in the Sour Tangie.
I had a male to try my luck in making some F3 seed~ another integral facet of my labour.

I selected a particular individual female as my participant for the competition. Her rapid growth, and robust frame were alluring to me.
I am not the same person now, who once selected that plant.
Having grown a few of these , I am starting to recognize differences amongst these things.

Regard the thin fingers on the comp plant.

Super Thin. Super long finish. PotentAF.
No chicken dinner. Too Orange.

This whole light came on when my girl was sampling around the jars and found one that tastes like "Tastes like Sour Tangie"
It was a Guava Stardawg cross.
That was when I began to realize that the taste she was after did not come from the Tangie- it seems to be more of a diesel thing.

Last night I was admiring the narrow leafed LVTittiesKush, spinning and caressing the Crocketts and the remaining F2's. I noticed how wide the fans were, and how much it smelled like KFC dinner.
I am beginning to suspect what I am looking for is hiding within the wide leaf girls.
Fans are different.

F2 on the left. Crockett on the right. Early flower.
Fat asscats.

So, perhaps I backed the wrong horse ?
Can I keep a straight face if I didn't nail my goal ?
If this comes down to a 'gooodgaawd' competition; the field is fierce.
I can dig that.
