I got some Sour Cindy seeds a while back from GLG and ran them late last year. Sour Cindy is a Santero creation, a cross between the famous 'riri cut' sour diesel and an F2 dad of C99 which if my memory serves (ha! Don't count on it
) came from frost Brothers.
Appearance: crystalline buds with an abundance of red hairs. Very resinous. Looks sugar coated.

Smell- herbal, a touch of lavender, slightly pungent. 7 out of 10.
Dry hit was like herbs with mango. 7.5 out of 10
Smoke is pungent and thick. Will choke you.
Effects- this is a pretty powerful smoke. I am not a daily smoker so my tolerance is low. But I smoked heavily for 40 years, I recognize potency when I see it. The first time I toked this I took a few more hits than normal. (Normal is about 2 or 3)... I got disoriented, was driving, didn't expect that level of potency. Had to pull over at a convenience store. I sat there for about an hour, until a cop pulled in the parking lot.
Well that was my cue, I fired up the truck and drove home without incident and took a good nap. It hit like a heavy indica, but I learned that this is one of those strains that can do whatever you want it to. If I smoke less, it gives nice clear mental effect with just a touch of body, it's really good. Overtoke it and find a pillow.
Overall smoke-potency is a 9 for me.
I expected a sweeter, more uppy weed because of the C99, but what I got was a hybrid stone that wasn't quite as sweet as I'd hoped.
Still, a solid 8 overall, thanks Santero for this cross.
(I don't have pics for this one, it was harvested in a hurry under duress. I probably would have let it go longer. My harvest was at 62 days.)
