Myself I was turned onto the Chem only recently. I have been stomping around Tangie land looking for the perfect fit. Do to my inexperience, it took some time to realize it was the chemmy/ fuelly side of the Sour Tangie that we enjoyed the most.
I have grown out a few Tangie crosses, with varying degrees of citrus, skunk, pixie-stik-pucker.
It was only when I grew out the Grapefruit Diesel, that I came to realize that the most alluring facet , (shared in common with the ideal sour Tangie ) was the late inhale and initial 'mouthfeel'
I started to learn that it was the chemy-diesel side of the equation that was responsible for that delightful draw.
I think this is what people refer to as 'exspansive' ?

It looks good, it smells good ;but it's not until you crunch through that skin ,,,that taste,,,after your teeth come together ,you take that breath through your nose and your brain is all melty and warm as you think to yourself "Fekk'n I love MSG!!"
I pull in that big hoot, and I can feel every nook and cranny light'n up in my mouth.
Savory- in the biblical sense.
It was my old lady that came up with the Fried Chicken Connection ; if you ask me I always thought it smelled like the Snap-on girls' panties.
